So we have one more day left in October...is iTunes Match being unveiled tomorrow?

I guess in honor of Steve Jobs, when they say the end of xxx,
it will be the latest possible date.

I predicted 11:59 PM Hawaiian time on Oct 31.

No one actually knows other then Apple, so why even bother asking? It's not like someone on here with no sources is going to have magical insider information as to when Apple is going to release something.

That's for beta 1. Beta 3 has been out for about 3 weeks now.
What beta 3 are you talking about? iTunes 10.5.1 first beta was released on October 11th. So where did the other two betas come from???

ITunes 10.5.1 with Match is called 10.5.1 beta 3

That's what it says in my about iTunes window.

The release notes do say beta 1 though.

I'm trying to wait patiently . . . But I think I may wear out my mouse pad refreshing macrumors and restarting ITunes. :(

Well, I doubt Apple will release iTunes Match at this point during the day (but, who knows), so I believe Apple will miss their "End of October" goal.

Wow - very rare Apple misses a deadline....must be more problems with it than thought.....especially without a statement of any kind

The silence from Apple is deafening.

It tells me a couple of things.

They feel they aren't ready for the load.
They found bugs in their audio recognition (Shazam) code that could be exploited.
More bugs with audio recognition only it is not recognizing obvious titles.

They are still waiting for some record company approval (highly doubt).

They should have open beta testing to more then a few Apple fanboys who pay to beta test.
