Match definitely looks delayed/buggy to me. I'm just quite shocked apple has not released a 2nd beta of 10.5.1 because the old one expired already.

The silence from Apple is deafening.

It tells me a couple of things.

They feel they aren't ready for the load.
They found bugs in their audio recognition (Shazam) code that could be exploited.
More bugs with audio recognition only it is not recognizing obvious titles.

They are still waiting for some record company approval (highly doubt).

They should have open beta testing to more then a few Apple fanboys who pay to beta test.

Hmmm... It tells me Apple isn't ready to release it. Were you able to get through to Apple to let them know you've isolated the issues?

Curious if this is going to be better than Spotify, which I happen to love. Totally worth the 8 bucks a month for whatever I want to listen to, at any time.

Well you still have to buy your music that you want to listen to through iTunes. So that's one benefit of Spotify over iTunes Match. The benefit of Spotify is having access to any song you could possibly want to listen to (limited to their library of course) without having to permanently purchase it.
