What we want? Wll I know what I want... The chance to watch any show I want on an a la carte basis for less than my cable tv bill.

Apple can't offer that, nobody can...and as far as existing set top boxes, the apple tv is not full featured compared to the competition. So they will have to step it up and open support up if they want my business.

Dsclosure, I have two gen 1 apple tv's sitting in a closet.

I know no one here seems to give a **** about this and Jobs / Apple less than that, but this is an absolutely TREMENDOUS opportunity for enhancing the game offering of the Pad / Phones that can airplay or otherwise interact with the iTV / Apple TV.

Do you know of any good ones that do interface with the Apple TV currently? That might be something to get excited about the TV for too...

I like the existing (and former) form factor on the aTV because I can put it behind my wall mounted flat screen and keep a clean look.

It's also nice that I can turn *ANY* TV into an AppleTV with a $99 box.

A full blown TV with integrated aTV software strikes me as a solution in search of a problem.

Or...

iPod Hifi.
