I've Just Discovered Lily Allen

Are you guys telling me that she's British and has a sexy British accent too? That's too much for me to handle; I think I'm going to faint. :p

Yes, she really does.

I can't stand her, or her stupid records. Her 'music' is deplorable.

So is her face come to think of it. She actually irritates me more than her father does for allowing fame to come her way, and thus allowing us to recognise her father is Keith Allen.

That is unforgiveable. When you have a father like him, you hide under the blankets.

she talks like a little chav and acts like a complete brat whenever she can.

I did like the video for Smile and LDN though.

True - the constant slagging off is annoying. Not a fan of her music, but the new single is growing on me...

I wouldn't say I was a fan of hers, but a quick check of iTunes reveals I've downloaded two of her three single releases; Smile and the latest one, Littlest Things. Don't know why I didn't get LDN as that was catchy too and the alfresco/Tesco line is brilliant.

Don't know much about music but, like the Arctic Monkeys, her lyrics have a dark humour and energy to them.
 
Just on the topic of cricket, anyone watch SA vs. India series. Wow it was demeaning. Too bad about the pro20 game though...

Oh and the ashes are coming up soon, unless they haven't already started, that'll be interesting.

And as for miss Allen, her video's are so depressing that I feel like jumping off something high, really high, when she opens he w=mouth and comes on screen *Jason gags*

Just kidding Mark m'boy I <3's me some Cumbria. Or Cumberland. What's up with that btw - I'm sure it was Cumberland when I was a kid (or everything was logo'd as such in the Lakes) and now its Cumbria....:confused:

Will be climbing Helvellyn once again over the Xmas period...


And back onto topic, Ms. Allen is kinda cute at times... but then the mouth and attitude takes over an all such notions disappear...

Her dad scares the hell out of me too. Even in Black Books when he was wearing pink bunny ears I still felt like he would have bit my face off in an argument.
