Pages 5 is more of a desktop publishing app than a word processor like Word 2016. The killer feature I use most often is the object alignment and margin guides. Word 2011 had a Publisher View where you could align objects beyond just center on page, but that has been removed in 2016. Designing custom forms is much easier in Pages than Word. Numbers is similar in that it’s real power is presentation, not number crunching.
