For me, one of the only thing I need confirmed for the iPad to replace my HP hackintosh (which I should mention works wonderfully - but it's not a true mac) is being able to "import" my documents into iWork apps through the Dropbox app. I used to use iDisk as my documents folder between my two macs, but it was a little slow with syncing (I had the sync feature turned on) so I switched to Dropbox for the storage part. If I can edit those files on Dropbox and then save back to the same file location (on Dropbox), I'm getting an iPad. I depend on so many documents daily that I can't not have this functionality.

I'm sure if iDisk gets it, the Dropbox app will too since they are both effectively the same concept. I'll be in the apple store late April (live in Canada) to check it out and hopefully buy one.

I'm looking forward to making slideshows and presentations with Keynote and creating stories with Pages. The awesome text wrap around feature is such a sweet concept. I wanna get iWork 09 for my MBP but I don't have an extra $79 right now due to getting the 32GB Wifi iPad, a case, and all the apps I wanna get.

Presentations and Stories with iWorks? Does that mean you won't be doing your budget in Numbers? If you google iWorks, you might find out that it has a spreadsheet. Or just start a new thread on here.:D

You can get OS X versions of iWorks cheaper on Amazon.

I disagree, I easily use Numbers most out of the iWork package. I only use Pages now and again, and i've never used Keynote. Whereas I use Numbers daily to keep track of my personal and business budgets/accounts. Can't wait to buy it for the iPad!

Buy it from a reseller. I just bought iWork 09 from B&H Photo for $67, free shipping, no sales tax charged (unless you're from New York).

ebay

Easily get iwork on ebay for 30-35$. I'm hoping that the ipad versions are offered for SOME discount for the client subs.
