Are you sure about that? I believe the X2's were just released a few days ago....Or maybe just yesterday. That is when I got the release email from Jaybird about their new model.
Whoops! Just double-checked - you're right. It was just the BlueBuds X. *sigh* Wish they would have come out with those a few months ago. :( Someone will have to post here how well they work with the watch!!

Itsedstech said he picked up the X2's last week, either Itsedstech is mistaken or maybe they were out for a bit before the internet world announced them.

I doubt anyone is going to get the X2's under $179 for a long time though, can't wait to hear reviews on them.

I'm not super-optimistic, but maybe they will perform better. Seems they have the same version of BT as the X's:

Bluetooth Version: Bluetooth Class 2.1+EDR
(Newer versions offer no benefits for headphones
as BLE, Bluetooth Low Energy, is not adequate for
streaming high bandwidth stereo music)

I can't help but think that BT4.x headphones should work better with the watch.

Gotcha, I knew that could be a possibility, but other than the color they look extremely similar. Good to know the latest version is working better for you.
yeah , I was actually on my way to the store to purchase the first gen and saw these parallel to them laying on top of one of those mini checkout counters, they had 4 of them laying there since they did not have pegs or tags for them yet, so i scooped the black ones up lol, i think the first gen looked better design wise but these are great.

I feel like they look basically the same. But the bluebudX to me is unusable for the most part now cause of dropouts. 3 pairs and same thing. I've had them for over a year and no issues before my watch.
You have your phone playing music and your watch still connected to the phone and no issues with dropouts? Just to make sure. And you can switch to stored music on the watch and still have the phone connected to the watch for notifications?

back half looks the same, the front half where the earbud gets attatched to they made the same color plastic as the rest of the body, i liked it better two tone like how it was before, but yes, havent had one drop out at all. connected to watch, or even while playing music off the watch and stil being connected to phone.

To fix the situation Jaybird suggested that I do any of the following:
1) Unpair the watch each time I want to use it
2) Sync music to the watch and pair to the watch
3) Buy an iPod and pair to the iPod

This is completely ridiculous and I won't be purchasing anything from them again.

I've had the Jaybirds pre Apple Watch and didn't have any issue.
Now that I have my Watch, they drop connection to my iPhone 6+ (iOS 8.3) fairly frequently. It's maddening! When the drop, I can press the center button on the headset and they'll re-connect. Then I have to press again to start the music playing.

I've posted here because these have been mentioned on a lot of threads as preferred headsets here in the W forum.

I've tried forgetting and re-pairing to the phone. I've reboot/reset the phone.

It was happening on iOS 8.2 and I updated to iOS 8.3… still no change. They drop a lot.

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions to repair that I may have missed?

I appreciate your input. Thanks.
[doublepost=1460073545][/doublepost]Were you able to resolve the problem?

I've had the JBs for few months and loved them for a solid month. All of a sudden, every time I paused something, I'd have to FORGET THE DEVICE and then try and pair again. That worked sometimes but most of the time, they needed to be charged for about a minute and then paired again. It's quite annoying. Any help would be much appreciated.
