Just to chip in my 2¢..
I heard these speakers in an Apple store, they were next to a pair of £300 speakers that sounded weak compared to the Creatures. So I ordered a pair that day for £69. Like others have said if you pay more, generally, you get better quality sound. The only flaw I've found is that the speakers arent exactly 'flat' in terms of their frequency response, but thats down to their design. You see the high range is covered by the 2" satellite speakers and the bass by the subwoofers, so the mid range is a bit patchy. This might be a moot point - as most people use EQ to boost the Bass and High frequencies anyway!
Maybe I notice that more because of my music background, but that hasnt stopped me enjoying these speakers at all. They are fun, beautifully designed, plug into ANYTHING with a standard 3.5mm jack, which is pretty much any consumer music device.

- Pros: Stunning design, great price, very flexible, plenty of length on the included wires, idiot-proof connectors (think of a childs toy where you put the cube through the square hole)
- Cons: Uneven frequency response, unusual sub shape. Also you might get bored of your flatmates saying "WOAH! What are THEY?! So cool!"
