I just removed my BSE skin because I didnt like how the texture of the skin felt, the skin didnt remove the text on my iPhone however you can see the 'iPhone' imprint on the skin...to me this issue seems overblown

1. Do you have jet black?
2. So you're saying that b/c it didn't happen to you, other folks must be making much todo about nothing? Why, how egocentric of you.

I agree with this. If they didn't have to add the additional text, they probably wouldn't add "iPhone," either. They might be entirely comfortable with the idea of people taking the lettering off themselves.
So why do MacBooks have MacBook written on the bottom of the bezel? This is marketing and branding 101.

Yes I have a Jet Black, I had the BSE skin on for over a week until it started looking "dirty", decided to finally remove it after reading this thread (which required some force)...only thing I see is the pattern of the engraving on the skin, but not the actual text...the iPhone text on the back of my iPhone is still visible and looks exactly like the day I brought it.

Good. Glad to hear you didn't have issues. Still doesn't negate others issues though.

Just peeled a wrap off my MATTE Black iPhone 7. It transposed onto the wrap as well. Beware to all wrap users regardless of color (although it might be just for the blacks but I can't confirm).
