for the 2 strap clasp (apple vs amazon one), which one would you say has less contact with the macbook keyboard when you type (or any surface when you are typing). ?

I have yet to type with either on my MBP but I would say these JETech ones have less contact due to the clasp being flat. The Apple classic buckle clasp is rounded. Also keep in mind the JETech has a brushed, matte finish on the buckle, while the Apple is a polished, shiny finish. I think you would notice any scrapes more on the Apple one due to this.

For some reason they are no longer Prime.

thanks very much, i dont mind scratches (it will happen with any watch and finish).

I just can't stand the annoying sound and feel of the clasp touching the macbook surface. I normally has to take out my watch during busy work hour unless i wear long sleeve and cover the whole watch.....

Sigh...Got my band today. Looks like one of the band lock mechanisms is flawed, because the metal part has a lot of wiggle room when its flushed against the watch body. Guess I'll try for an exchange first, before I make my final decision. The leather material is decent and comfortable, but the actual lock mechanisms are pretty subpar and need some manufacturing tweaking.

Got mine in black today for 42mm, took the bands off immediately as they were cracking when curled into the shape of my wrist, doubt it will last long, i needed just the adapters anyway. On went my custom blue leather band. Noticed that one lug wouldn't go in and after a push went in but there was about 5mm wiggle room. Not locked. Then realized i had installed the lug upside down. Metal part of the lug must be on the release switch side, black part of the adapter faces upwards. Once i swapped those the wiggle stopped and fully locked.

Adapter fits perfectly, very snug indeed. And very happy with it.

Its on Amazon, Hadley Roma, i think code model ending in 739? there was also another blue model ending 909?

On their website:

24mm is the size you need. Hadley Roma website has a huge selection of all colors if you want to order from them directly, as only a few are on amazon. Next one i want to try is the wide band collection they have.

I know it's becoming an addiction, add the fact you can change watch face colors to match the bands and the outfits on that given day it's a sickness..

Next up to try is match the color of my car according to my straps and outfits. ;)

Do the bands, from Amazon, include the clasp to attach to the watch? If not, where did you buy that?

Yes came with the metal clasp. Basically all you need is 2 adapters to atatch to the watch.

If you happen to own an apple leather classic buckle you can try to use those adapters, i tried and only 1 screw would come out, the rest seemed glued.

So i purchased the JeTech for the sole intention of using the adapters from Amazon as i could get it quickest. My other adapter on order was marked as shipped last week but only tendered to USPS today and it was shipped only 40 miles from me. It will be nice to have another adapter, but if i find the quality is not as good i will not hesitate to order another JeTech band for the adapters as they are high quality.

Pretty much matches the original adapters on my classic buckle.

Thats the one!, it looks a slightly darker shade in pictures. You can check it also on the Hadley Roma website.

Wow this is nice, I'm not big on blue but I may have to get a black or brown one. I need to find it in red!

thank you, i purchased a Red one last night, now i have to buy another adapter as the 2nd adapter i purchased from a seller in Utica arrived with springbars instead of apple style. Looks like i may be buying another JeTech just to make the Red happen.

Check out all the colors here. 2nd one down.

Too bad I won't have a watch to put it on until Monday, might have to order another color.

What type of screwdriver did you use to remove the adapter? Was it a pentalobe and what size was it? thanks!
