I can't comment with certainly either but it doesn't look great. Also i've followed Jon4lakers since he was unboxing youtube videos until he started technobuffalo. To me he's seemed to be completely upfront and non biased. Been my favorite tech reviewer for six years. I trust what he has to say.

It's an opinion piece. He thinks it looks cheap and plastic. I'm wearing mine now and I just flat out disagree. He makes good points about his toddler pulling it off, etc. That makes sense.

My own experience is that the brown leather loop looks great and is very comfortable. I'm expecting it to get softer and even more comfortable with time. I don't have toddlers yanking at it, but the strength of the magnets is just fine.

I really liked the leather loop when I tried it on at my appointment and was set on buying it. I decided not to get it due to not being comfortable with it doing well at work. I regularly put on/take off gloves and protective sleeves. I'm too afraid it will regularly get snagged and opened. Plus metal shavings would adhere to the magnets.

The guy in the video doesn't display a drop of professionalism. For me he has no credibility. I bought the leather loop to replace the milanese loop. It's great. I've been wearing it for about 3 weeks. It's comfortable and looks great. Sure, it takes a moment to get it looped through when putting it on, but it's hardly a major issue.

And toddlers? Wow. Great reason to bash the band. I guess he could glue it on permanently or get rid of his toddler. But the adult thing to do would be to say that there are some circumstances where this kind of band may be the best, but it's no reason to actually bash the band.

This guy exemplifies what is wrong with the internet. Any person can sit on a couch, look unkempt and unprofessional, video himself and find someone to actually give him credence and credibility where none belongs.

I went into the Apple Store to look at the bands on offer. These loops really do look plastic and cheap. £120 is outrageous! However the magnets are spot on, you wouldn't pull one of these off your wrist accidentally.

I agree. His reviews generally suck. I unsubscribed to his channel long long ago as I found him very irritating.

I ordered one along with the leather classic buckle that came with my SS. IMO, it's not nearly as comfortable as the leather classic, or the sport bands. I never wear it. Least favorite. Wish I would've picked up a Milanese instead. Whatevs. I actually agree with Jon. Just my opinion though.

Haven't watched the video but who is this guy anyways? Ah, I don't wanna know.

Go to the store, try bands for yourself and see if you like them or not. That's my best bet.

I am not sure about the leather loop but the classic buckle I bought went back in one day. The leather was described as being top quality but felt more like hard plastic. I was wondering if the leather loop was as comfortable as the sports band but it sounds like a resounding no so I will stick with the sports bands for now and maybe find a quality aftermarket leather band in the future.

So, it "looks cheap" but "looks nice?" Huh? Also, water spots on leather??? That's it. My order's cancelled. What kind of leather can get spots from water? Oh wait, he just said that up till now he's been able to wipe the spots off. When leather gets wet, it can develop spots. It's leather. He's kind of all over the place. The fact that his toddler is pulling at it all the time and it hasn't hit the ground yet tells me the band does its job well.

I disagree with his opinions. I have a black and a blue leather loop and I love the quality, love the way it looks, and it always stays on. Actually like it more than my black classic buckle.

You exemplify what's wrong with the internet lol You took one guy's opinion way too seriously and you seem to have an unhealthy attachment to a material object. I'm glad it works for you but his concerns are very valid.

The beginning of the video should've said "Begin Rant"...

He didn't really review the band. Overall the video felt like it was made just for him to let out steam, because he chose to spend $150 on the band.

I returned my Blue Leather loop yesterday. Looked good, but wasn't as comfortable as my sport band. Was constantly adjusting it. I agree that it does not really look or feel that leather-like. For me, it was not worth the money. But that's just my opinion. I do love my watch, though:).

I can agree with adjusting! I have to adjust multiple times a day, I think it has to do with my arm swelling from being indoors then going outside in 90° weather 85% humidity.
