I think the ultimate Jony-ism was the later iMac. every single thing was on the back of the computer. SD card, headphone jack, USB ports etc. All so that you could have a sleek unblemished fascia.
The newer ones at least put a headphone jack on the side.
It may not seem like a big deal, but imagine you work in a design studio with 6 other 'creatives'.
There are 3 of you on each wall with those tall Ikea tables you always find in such places.
All the cables are neatly tucked away with velcro. And every time you need to import photos of the camera you have fiddle around with the slot in the back.
This always bugged me because doubtless it would have been cheaper to use a standard side loading SD card, which would mount in parallel to the mainboard. Like every single other device on the planet from DSLRs to car stereos.
This may sound like I'm making a mountain out of a moleskine,
but I've gotten it in the ear on this exact issue when I worked at two different ad agencies and a design studio as the tech guy.
On the other hand Jony would have saved us from the current palette of colors.

since when does the M1 or M2 MBA Thermal Throttle?
Since always. If you're doing something that is high enough workload any CPU will throttle.

My M1 air will throttle if I do heavy rendering in Davinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro whilst also watching youtube for example. Doesn't take a lot, its just hard to notice.

You mean the extremely popular set of colors?

You seem to be forgetting that it was Jony that came up with both the iBook and G3's rather vibrant color options. In fact the G3 launched with just 1 color, and it was Jony that went ahead and made a bunch of variations after launch and showed them to Steve as prior to that he wasn't convinced it was a good idea. Turned out to be a VERY good idea.

That is exactly what the MBP has been with Jony his obession with thinnes rather than designing a proper chassis that could handle the Intel chips.

Bring back Jony!!!

I actually read the exact opposite thing in these figures: people prefer a device with a better, standard keyboard, than a gloomy, odd, and poorly supported touchbar. ;)
