ugh, i picked up a verizon galaxy nexus last summer and got rid of it a month later. worst battery life ever. good luck, op.
I did the exact same thing with 2 of them. They were so bad Sprint offered extended batteries, but they were only 300mAh more so not much of a help at all. If you can get an extended (max you can get) battery it would be a great phone to have and enjoy. I traded both of mine for a Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4s.

As someone else pointed out, if it is new and sealed then you have the GSM version coming your way. The CDMA version comes in a different box.

I saw that as well. If it's not the CDMA version, then this seller is going to refund me. I can always put a dispute on the charge with my credit card.
