Also - since when are Apple stores standing on their own? I'm sure they have those somewhere - but aren't they usually a part of a mall or pre-existing building? I don't mean to "rip your head off", but I just don't see the purpose in the design, or the usefullness.
This is just an idea, you are right in that most Apple stores are in malls, but i think it would be cool to have a stand alone store, as they only have a few, but oh well, it was an idea, i drew it, and now it's done.
Maybe Apple fans love Apple's retail stores, and maybe Apple fans also love Starbucks, but I'd be concerned about merging the two in the shopping environment.
Apple stores have far too many loiterers as it is. This is especially true in cities where they basically become free internet cafes. People park themselves at these machines for hours on end to take care of all of their computing needs. It's pretty frustrating if you wanted to take a look at a new product release or compare a newer model to your own, or worse yet, actually buy a computer!
So, my vote is for no conjoining of Starbucks and Apple. Too many loiteres as it is, and spilled coffee really doesn't sit well with a table of 8 MacBook Pros.
