I respect your POV and all what you’re telling but honestly I don’t see it. In my experience the improvements are just marginal and no massive at all. As I said in my original post, better camera and larger screen are just incremental improvements, not massive nor impressive improvements.

I love when Apple really improves, although honestly, from 11 pro to 16 pro, I don’t see improvements which worth, nevertheless I bought a new 16 pro because of other reasons. Why would I lie?
I found a very big difference between my xs max and my 15pm. I get some people may not care. A phone is a phone is a phone.

But there are a myriad of quality of life improvements. But thankfully apple kept the user experience consistent.

I agree with you at this point.

XS Max and 15 Pro Max, even are physically different from the back. XS Max has two cameras, while the 15 Pro Max has three, so aesthetically are very different.

On the other hand, 11 Pro and 16 Pro have a very similar 3 cameras module. The difference is that in the 11 Pro the camera module is tiny and discreet, while the one at the 16 Pro is huge and extroverted.

And boy, I’m not telling that the 16 Pro is a bad phone, obviously not. I’m just telling that I truly expected a much more different experience between my old phone and the new one. That’s just what I’m saying.

It seems that we’ll have to wait for a new generation iPhones, for us to see a real and significant leap as we saw when the X was introduced.

I think we are saying the same thing but downplaying some aspects. I agree with you on the continuity of IOS. The differences between the max and the 11 are incremental as is a common thought on MR.

I find the quality of life differences between the max and the 15 really nice. You may not feel the same way on the quality of life differences between the 11 and the 16.

That’s where the difference lies in our discussion.

Agree. Basically we are saying the same regarding the incremental improvements. The only difference is that those improvements worth more than enough to you, while not too much to me.

Anyway, regards and have a nice 2025.
