the 16 shipped on the first batch comes with a factory build 22A3351,
so there's a minor OTA update for these phones getting the official release build.
Thanks. I'm surprised it comes more than one week later...

It was released on the launch date of the 16 models.Thanks. I'm surprised it comes more than one week later...
It may have to do with location/region, but that update was available on iPhones in the U.S. on launch day. I updated mine as soon as I took it out of the box and turned it on.Thanks. I'm surprised it comes more than one week later...
Yeah, that's why I said I was surprised. It took them one week to bring it to my phone. But as Azhava said, it's probably related to regional deployment...It was released on the launch date of the 16 models.
We are expecting a real 18.0.x update for this week that fixes the iPhone 16 bugs.
This isn't new, there was an update for all 16 models on launch day for a newer iOS 18.0 build than what they shipped with.I just got an update for my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It was 427.8MB. Looks like a minor update and hopefully resolves the issue where touches aren't recognized.
