I love my iPad too

Just poke around in this Forum and you will find plenty of threads with lots of recommendation on apps. You can even use MRoogle to do some searching for them.

I really like Penultimate and Sketchbook Pro
And you can try out Angry Birds HD too ;)

Pages, Numbers and Keynote just got updated

Oh, and I love having the DropBox app
GoodReader for PDFs

And if you have a Netflix account you will love the app

I bought the apple case with it and a screen protector. I do like the case , especially when you fold it over.

Just downloaded a free sat nav off the appstore and it looks brilliant!!

The wife to be is hogging the ipad as we speak!!
 
I actually just got mine too! 16 gb with 3G and wifi! Trying to get a data pooling plan with my 6 gb iPhone plan without paying an extra $20 a month!

I also need some app suggestions! But here are my recommendations:

air video

I really like the Apple case best from the ones I have seen

I have the InCase neoprene sleeve as well, but I never use it any more

I just slip my iPad into my portfolio and off I go
Excellent for showing off presentations for work using DropBox and GoodReader

Defintely get angry birds HD,it's one word awesome.
Also definitely get filer for downloading and transferring files.it also allows you to play 1080p (mp4 and mkv) movies.
 
Hi,

When I got this I bought a screen protector (anti glare Matt finish). It seems good apart from it seems to be making it not as bright as the one i held in the shop(and also text and pics look slightly less sharp, almost a little fuzzy, is this normal?) Is that because it's an antiglare?

If so do any of you that use it with the apple case use it without a screen protector? If not is there anywhere that i can get a screen protector that stops the smudges/finger prints that this one does well but not be antiglare so it will allow all the light through?

Any Touchscreen device will pick up fingerprints. Having a screen protector on when you're using the Apple case is just OTT, I think. I use the Apple case on its own and it's fine.
 
Angry Birds HD, Bubbles HD (really, really addictive but free) and Doodle Jump even thought it's for iPhone.

If you read a lot of websites, open a Google Reader account and buy Reeder for iPad. If you tweet a lot, download Twitter for iPad.

Reeder and Twitter are my #1 most used apps.
 
Angry birds (iphone version) = even if you double the screensize, it looks nice and the content is amazing for its price.

FlightCtrl HD = very relaxed game and perfect with the ipad's real estate

Canabalt = cheap but very addictive game. great music and quick to play.

flipboard = it bit slow to load, but looks amazing

Editor's Choice = offline reading of select articles from the NYT

Me too
Yeah, it gets fingerprints and smudges from time to time, but it wipes clean pretty easily

I like my Apple devices nekkid for the most part
My iPhone 4 has nothing on it, not even the bumper
I use the Apple case on the iPad and find it to be everything I need in a case and protection
 
Congratulations! I'm looking to get an iPad for my birthday in October but might be holding out for one if they release the new one soon!
