Just Got My New Mbp For Christmas!! :)

Maybe I don't understand how BC Vs. AD works, but if Jesus was born in 6 BC, doesn't that mean he died when he was six?

(And December 25th is a Pagan sun god holiday that was overwritten by the Church in an attempt to erase Paganism. Good one guys!)

I also got a new 15'' MBP for christmas it is a thing of beauty and it has been running flawlessly since I turned it on. However, my display is plagued by the subtle yellow tint on the bottom half of the screen. It is unfortunately noticeable when viewing websites that contain a white background. It isnt the pee yellow but it is enough that even my wife noticed it. I was just gonna deal with it but my wife is like thats a 2000+ laptop it must be perfect. So I will be calling applecare again today to arrange a swap at my local apple store.

Excuse me for fueling a possible thread hijack, but who are you to tell anyone that your religion is better? Doesn't every other religion say one is better than the other? Prove to me in substantial evidence (via PM) that yours is better and that I actually will be judged.

Congrats on your new MBP! I gave one to myself a few weeks ago as an early christmas gift.
 
Thanks guys. BTW... fueling the thread hijack... all religions are designed to be "right." Therefore, they are inherently to be taken as "truth." If a certain religion's "truth" interferes with another, then you pick the one to believe therefore making the opposite juxtaposingly "wrong." But when looking at religions from a completely objective viewpoint "right" and "wrong" are all relative.

In my opinion what makes a religion true is undeniable historical truth, undeniable divine truth, and undeniable personal truth. When all of these are interwoven they are a pretty strong witness to a certain religion.

But in the end, there is of course only one "true" religion. It's... ;)

No silly goose! :)

God told Noah to put two of every kind of creature into the ark. Dinosaurs are reptiles but so are turtles and alligators.

And yes God chose one religion just like He chose the Jews in the Old Testament (and only those who were Jews and circumsized, or converted and circumcized) were saved so in the New Testament the new chosen people will be saved (those converted and baptized).

i got my christmas macbook pro yesterday :)
its my 18th birthday present aswell.
I loves it.
 
Hey Congrats Phat Boy!!

Yeah, i'm LOVING mine! I've been a windows user and pretty much advocate since i was 3. The main reason for that is because i'm an avid game player and of course... macs really aren't known for games. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDnXsONSD2g)

But when i started my film studies i was reluctantly forced to use macs, ya know cuz they hardly ever crash. And aren't built with .dll's and horribly constructed binary systems etc etc. BUT NOW... I friggin LOVE macs. Every single time i use windows at work now it just feels.... broke.

So what are your specs man? Anything cool you plan on doing with it? School, work, video/music editing, web?

I just ordered 4 gigs of ram for mine and a 500gb external for editing.. i'm P-U-M-P-E-D!!
