Complaints about the integrated video are a bit silly... it won't affect these apps. Let me just say I run Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Quark, Illustrator, iTunes, Safari, Mail, etc all at the same time, all day, every day, and I only have 1.5Gb of RAM. No designers in our agency have or have need for more than 1.5 Gb. I find all this over-prescribing of RAM nonsense silly. I seldom if ever beachball. At home I run 1Gb, and have no problems there either.

2Gb of RAM is a perfectly acceptable ceiling for what you need.
