dell 300m. whatta great computer! typing on it now actually. about to sell it on ebay next week. very sad to see it go. ended up replacing the hard disk, lcd, hinges, and keyboard all within the span of 3 months and so decided it was time to upgrade.

believe it or not, switching to the mba resulted in me now toting a heavier laptop.

I still dont get this, its just 2 pounds lighter than the Macbooks with horrible specs and 1000.00 more price tag. 750.00 of which Im sure is pure wow factor pricing. I travelled alot in my (now former, company wide lay off, they kept TWO people, lol) job of three years, and a 15" Macbook Pro worked just fine everywhere I went. I also carried a Wacom tablet with me. Never any issues with weight.

Oh well, I suppose if you want, can afford, then buy it. Thats what I do, but Im still scratching my head on this one.

Its interesting to see that most people got an upgrade to a MBA, and very few came from a more powerful MB/MBP.

I dunno if i could use a 1.6Ghz MBA now i have my MBP <3

I did have a MBP between the 1st and 2nd MBA. I liked the power but hated the form factor, size and weight.
