Hey everybody!

I just switched from a PC to a Mac and I have to say that this really rocks. Macs are so much cooler and are really slick.

I just got the new iBook G4 12.1" and I think I'll never go back to a PC. Just wondering, are there any cool little toys that you guys can point out that our worth messing around with? So far, all I've done is mess around with iPhoto, iCal, surf the net with Safari, and downloaded widgets.

I'm looking forward to becoming a regular poster on the forum.

Congratulations from another enthusiastic switcher. My moment of brilliance conclusively occurred about a year ago. It has been great to work with such a stable system. Although, I wasn’t prepared for the obsession by current pc users in calling names, or becoming the brunt of jokes. Do they realize this only feeds my desire to switch others? Is this common or has it occurred to other switchers? I lack an understanding of how a pc user (my friends) can honestly shriek about or degrade my Mac until they have tried both.

Now, back to your original question. PC World this month gave great reviews on Transparent Dock. After using it for about 3 weeks I have enjoyed the cool transparent effect it gave my dock.

Try pressing CMD (Apple Key)+Control+Option+8. I'm not going to tell you what it does, but don't worry; it won't do anything harmful.

If there's an AppleStore near you I would ask them for schedule
of their tutorial classes.

I was just stopping by last weekend for an accessory and ended up in a one hour GarageBand tutorial class FREE.

They also offer basic orientation in OS X Tiger and many other applications.
