Wow.

Talk about overkill! Defeats the purpose of portability!

Well, I'm normally in another country for at least 4 months, so end up taking the unibody as well as the ipad. Hence the MBA. However, going back to BG this time will mean I have to take them all, and as I said, I ain't checking them! Future travel will have MBA, and the ipad... Nice 'n' light!

I don't normally, but I travel away from my home a great deal, for long periods, so take them with me. I don't like putting them in checked luggage.

Actually, the white macbook normally stays in the states, but I'm moving to Eastern Europe, so that normally sits on a shelf, not in a bag. Normally have the ipad, and the unibody, but this time I'll have the 4.

that's crazy. a notebook+ipad I could understand but 3 notebooks and an ipad is ridiculous lulz. oh lawdy u crazy

Good, light bag

This is what i use its from staples and fits the 13 in air nicely in the side pocket. Model number is RA-4534-02. ~was $20.00 reg. price.

I got one of these as well. 13" Macbook Air fits snugly in pocket and the whole thing provides reasonable protection. As advertised, $20 in stock at Staples. I may get another one for traveling but for going between home and the office, this case is very good.

My Hard Graft sleeve is arriving today. I will post impressions once its here.

The wooly hard graft sleeve for the MBA is the only one that has caught my eye in all the threads I have seen discussing sleeves, the rest somehow look tacky and boring. Can't wait to see your comments on the sleeve! Do let us know if the wool can scratch or otherwise damage the MBA and the quality of the interior padding.

My Incipio is made of a very nice and thick leather. It is very tight and the first few times getting the MBA out of it was tricky until I learned the trick, letting gravity help with the process. I'm sure it will get a little looser in time.

I'm in the same boat. I have been looking for a good looking sleeve, and was looking for somthing wool (like hard graft) or leather. Here are the ones i am stuck between rite now.

1. Urbano leather sleeve

2. Packs and Smooch wool sleeve

3. Hard Graft wool sleeve

I have an Incipio sleeve, too. See the link in Post #10. It is beautifully made and fits my 13 inch MBA like a glove. I learned early on that it was designed to accept the MBA with the thinner front edge at the bottom of the sleeve. When I put the thicker back end in first, getting it back out was an adventure. That's why I only put it in that way once.:)

Alternative to the Staples Padfolio...

http://www.blueberryink.com/Leeds-Leather-Distinctions-Zippered-Padfolio-1200-10.html

The reference to the Staples padfolio got me thinking that I had one of these from Leeds laying around.

I checked it and yes indeed, the 13.3" Air DOES fit, but it's tight:

One would want to be careful that the zipper doesn't scratch the back edge of the Air, which needs to be loaded thin edge first in order to fit:

Be aware that it adds SIGNIFICANTLY to the overall weight of the Air: 4.5lbs for the combo of Air + folio!
