iPad mini Just ordered an iPad Mini 5 WiFi

This thread is hilarious. People are quite intuitive when rigging something up for a iPad on the go huh. Lol
 
i can't say i'm totally excited about my Mini 5, since i've had so many iPads over the year. this particular one is just, yep, another iPad, it serves what i need. however, i think this is worth buying because likely this will be the last generation of the Mini. the resale value on the Mini 4 was still pretty strong just before the 5 came out. with 5's up to date hardware and 3G of RAM, i can definitely see the slow depreciation for this model compare to any other line of iPads.
 
I picked up the mini 5 today, and I’m quite happy with it. Typing while holding it is much easier than my 11” Pro was. I tossed iOS 13 beta on it for a bit and while there were a few bugs (mostly with the widgets) it wasn’t bad. Though the icons are definitely small!
 
just ordered too..... 64gb wifi .. found a good deal... 12% off so i cant let it pass.... really wanted it but i dont want to pay full price haha...
 
Replacing my 32GB WiFi iPad 2018 with the Mini 5 64GB WiFi today while the 6th Gen iPad has been great this past year, I've always wanted a smaller tablet & last year the only option was either Android "no thanks" or the Mini 4 which is starting to show it's age.

With the A12 in the Mini 5 it still be decent 3 years from now if the battery holds up.

That’s a great deal! I’m still going back and forth with it. I LOVE the size, but don’t really know how much I’ll use it since I have an 11” pro. I’d like it for reading in bed because my XR really isn’t big enough, and my iPad is too big. I don’t really like Kindles because they don’t offer anything else, and at least a mini would be something that would sync up to all my other devices, so I could use it for other things as well.

I tried the Pro 11" , 2019 ipad and even the new Samsung Galaxy tab s5e.
And I am NOT a iPhone user , I have the Samsung Note 9 which certainly has a large enough screen!
The Mini is the perfect size when in bed, one handed use and large enough to read.
This is the one I kept!!
 
i think for tablet gaming / reading in bed nothing beats ipad mini size. for more serious work .... u will want bigger screen...
 
I love the Mini for typing in Word. The on screen keyboard is much more comfortable for me than on my old 9.7” screen.
