The OS seems alot more snappy than Lion, Safari is pretty awesome alongside Notification centre, also being able to Tweet directly from NC is cool.
I didn't realize I couldn't use it until just right now.
I will have to agree this ONE feature is the basis for my upgrade. I have a MBP with Snow Leopard and a Mini with Lion....If Mountain Lion hadn't come with Airplay, I probably would have downgraded the Mini to Snow Leopard.

I like how it feels more refined and faster than Lion, many of the graphical hiccups that were never fixed in lion are gone in ML. It's pretty sad how my favorite "features" are ones that should have been fixed in Lion.
I also like the look of the new dock. I haven't had much use for Notification Center yet, though I doubt I will because I never have a use for it in iOS. I like Notes and Reminders.

Most useful feature: AirPlay Mirroring. I don't mind converting videos and using iTunes, but for a Blu Ray rip that takes a long time. It'll be really nice to be able to just rip, watch and convert later if I want to keep it.
Best guilty pleasure feature: The way the progress bar zips across in Safari. I know it doesn't really mean it's faster (even though it does seem to be), but it sure does look cool.

This was present in Lion as well. It is a great feature once you get the hang of it.
