The auditorium didn't seem to get beyond "golf clap" range, but there were some cool updates. The high horsepower iMacs sort of give pause about an update to the Mac Pro next year.

I'll take the redesign of the app launcher/sidebar thingy. That is an annoying disaster in iOS 10.

There were a few nuggets. Hoping as time goes on we will discover a few more.

Wow. What a keynote.

Apple gave the iPad almost everything we wanted. It's more of a desktop replacement than ever and headed absolutely in the right direction.

I'm planning on buying an iPad Pro next now as my main device. My files now have a home. My workflow now possible with much less frustration on iOS.

We didn't even have much of a clue! About anything announced really. This is the real, Steve Jobs era Apple coming back!!! Innovative new products, features AND technologies.

Anybody else just god damn over the moon with iOS 11 on iPad? I know I am!!!!!!
I am surprised they spent so much time and effort on the IPAD. Sales of IPADs have been falling every quarter for a few years now. This is not just an Apple problem but general throughout the sector.

Many have found they no longer have a use for the device and those that really need and want one already has one. There is no new markets.

Android tablet sales are dead because they suck and are forgotten about as soon as they're made on sale.

The iPad is for two reasons; they last forever and are built like tanks. Secondly, Apple has long ignored what we all want. They gave us most of that today. And I'm sure that'll help sales.

Indeed, I feel the same like the OP, I was just celebrating throughout this keynote, one awesome announcement after the other. iOS 11 for the iPad seems to be packing almost everything I dreamed of since day one with the pencil. Since that day I was missing drag and drop, and hurray it's here at last! I'm getting the 10.5", hoping to replace my 12,9" because it always felt a bit too big to bring along.hope the 10.5 will hit the sweet spot.

The reason why we had few leaks is because it's software. It's much easier to hide software because its existence can be restricted to software engineers, unlike hardware where you need to prep factories in advance to produce prototypes.

Recall - The new programming language Swift caught pretty much everyone by surprise.
