I guess we need an ancient events forum.I find it hilariously ironic that this thread is listed in the "current events" section.
They are both both (strategy and knowledge).^^^This would be very interesting. Although, a machine on Jeopardy! wouldn't Be the same as a machine (like Deep Blue) playing chess. That's a strategy game and this is a knowledge game.
THAT MAN IS UNBELIEVABLE! I bet he knows where I was born!
for real doc? or are you just ****ing with us? LOLIBM Jeopardy Challenge
February 14 thru 16, 2011
The three contestants:
Videos:
- Ken Jennings: longest Jeopardy! winning streak, 74 games
- Brad Rutter: biggest Jeopardy! money winner, $3.2 million
- IBM's Watson computer system
I can't wait!
- Event promo
- Watson's technology (platform: POWER7)
There's no way I would try to find out who won.I found out who won, but I will still watch.
Not a bad showing from Watson tonight. If it asks for "The Rapist for 200" then insults Trebek's mother, it'll be a winner in my book.
