Kext-Dev-Mode=1

Glad I found this thread, been looking hard into this since I encounterd the stop sign once on PB and at the time was clueless. So a fresh install was inevitable.

ok now i have a question: in the past, before apple comes out with the trimforce option in 10.10.4(?), i used cindoris trim enabler. Now i have these in my /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>kext-dev-mode=1</string>
i think it is unnecessary after the trimforce option or not?
when it is unnecessary, can i delete these entry?
