I agree. The weight is not too much say compared to a laptop which is what I will be using my combination as.

I had the smart keyboard and took it back. I think it's great don't get me wrong but after typing with the onscreen keyboard so much I found that the oragami-ness of the keyboard just was too much to try and contain all the time

I did not want a cover solution because my keyboard use will not be often enough to warrant something that is always there. I tried the Logitech Keys-To-Go first. Very portable. Super thin and light, but the actually typing feel was a bit lacking. Specifically, the area beneath the space bar was very uncomfortable on the thumb, and the flatness was just a bit too much. Great if you want super portability, but with compromised typing.

Then I tried the Logitech K380. Fantastic! The feel was great. Loved typing on it, and the price was good ($30). However, at nearly one pound it was heavy.

So then I found the Magic Keyboard open box at Best Buy for $85. It is lightweight (1/2 pound), familiar feel, and works very well with the Pro. The price, for me, wasn't horrible considering it seemed to combine the best of the K380 and Keys-To-Go, plus it comes with a lightning cable, which I needed another one anyway.

Did you buy the Magic Keyboard 1 or 2? And do the arrows work for scrolling on Safari and Word?

Arrows work in both of those apps.
