Qode Pro for Air 2 DOES work fine for iPP 9.7, it just covers 2 of the speakers, and camera lens aperture isn't aligned precisely, but it functions fine as a thin, lightweight protective keyboard case. Love the ability to pop the keyboard off (reading/web-browsing in bed), and that it can be used with the iPP in portrait mode as well as landscape.

Wish they were launching this for the iPP 10.5 but doesn't sound likely.

Some off brand made their version of the Qode pro. I tried it and the only difference is that the bluetooth doesn't automatically turn on and off when you attach or detach the ipad.

Belkin Qode Pro Ultimate is still my favorite ipad keyboard ever. I assume you could use the case from this version and use it with the qode keyboard.
