Got it and loving it! Me and other 3 Mac friends have bought it first day and playing online together!

If you have an ATI gfx card, disable motion blur is bugged for now.

Pity that there is no demo for this, would have liked to try it out, still unsure whether i should take the plunge. Does anyone have a spare guest pass by any chance?

I have that loading issue myself, its something to do with pre caching, im not exactly sure how you change it but its something to do with altering killingfloor.ini file, i tried looking for it, but i can only find a killingfloor.int file.

Just bought and downloaded it today. It's a pretty cool game, loading time is long, but it works fine 1280x800 on high settings on my Late 2008 Macbook. So I'm happy.

*correction* Turning off motion blur worked this time around ( no idea why it didn't fix it yesterday. ) but it did fix the screen being covered with textures that you couldn't see through ( and ended up shooting blind. )

I played the game a bit more, and it hard-locked on me loading the next level, I had to force-quit it several times ( with key combos ), I thought I almost had to hard-reset ( power off ) my iMac. I did enjoy it much more without that fullscreen bug from yesterday. The game feels shallow in solo mode, it's clearly designed for online play. I actually enjoy playing Left4Dead in single player, I was hoping Killing Floor would have a nice solo dynamic to it.

I have one major caveat: The expansion that they brag about with all the great content released for free, while it downloads- it doesn't work on Mac's yet. I haven't heard an ETA for it yet either.

While it is good to see a 1rst person horror survival game run beautifully in OS X, and it does look good, it still feels like a low-budget Left4Dead. If Left4Dead Mac was on Steam, that's what I would have bought.

The level up pack is part of the main release. When the expansion launched for windows it just presented as a big point update. Defence alliance isn't on the mac side yet but that's really a game in it's own right and not part of kf.

Agreed though KF in single player is pointless.

Which Mac are you talking about?

I cannot stand this Steam thing... It pushes you to buy a game every week! :D

I hope they enable SteamPlay in HL2 ( yes, I havent finish it yet ) and L4D2 soon

Wait until Christmas and they start throwing a bundle of $5 games every day!

I have a backlog of about 15 games!

Mind you, another pub besides Valve has to step up and start offering Mac games too or there might only be 15 games, and 150 versions of Diner Dash, by holiday season.
