My sister and I bought our parents two kittens for Christmas, and we need to name them. Suggestions?

They're black with a silver sheen on their back. Boy and girl.

Only got a picture of one of them at the moment - they're like whippets; they don't stop for a second!

Aw thats cute! :)

When we got our kitten a little over a year ago, she was almost a month old when we still couldn't find a name for her. We decided that the next name we heard on TV would be her name. She ended up as "Lola".

She looks identical to yours but with a white-tipped tail and chin.

I'd say wait until they get a bit of a personality before naming them, see what you can come up with then. (Pounce, Frisky, etc)

I've found black cats tend to drool a lot.. just fyi.

Kojak and Rockford?

Starbucks & Dunkin?

Porgy & Bess?

Bilbo & Baggins?

I assume they are brother and sister. I have two cats who are also brother and sister and they are really great for each other. They are now 2.5 years old but they still sleep together and clean each other. I don't feel as bad if I leave all day for work because I know they have company.

We would always try to name our cats but we could never get a name to stick so we always ended up calling them Cat or Kitty.

I think a good name would be Chester and Purrdy

Not really. I have an all black cat and he has never once drooled in his life (except when I had to give him medicine and he spit it out). My cousin has also had several black cats, over the years, and none of them have ever had drooling problems. I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to.

Anyway, OP, maybe you should leave the kittens nameless. Let your parents choose...

Otherwise, go with: Vader and Basement Cat

Maybe it's just the black cats in my area all have some drool gene. we've had any number through the years and they all tend to do it. Then again, they've all be strays and have all from the same part of town so it may be hereditary.
