whats your address *shifty eyes*. If your cats go missing it wasn't me.

I have a black cat, and when we got him (and through the first three or four months of his life) his hair stuck straight up in all directions. It looked like someone stuck his tail in a wall outlet. We named him Spike.

Will and Grace
Jack and Karen
Tony and Lola

FYI Spike drools if you pet him long enough.

Edit: my mom suggests Hansel and Gretal

I echo the thought of waiting a bit to name them to figure out their personality. You don't want a cat named Angel when it is the physical manifestation of Satan himself.

My black cat is named Bean...like coffee bean. She is tiny (even at 2 years old) and her fur has a dark red tint when it bright light. I also have a tortoise shell short-hair that I named Twitch because when she sleeps her paws and tail...well, twitch. Our first cat is named Star. She's a calico with a large black patch on her back that has a crescent moon and tiny white spots inside of it.

My sister and I bought our parents two kittens for Christmas, and we need to name them. Suggestions?

They're black with a silver sheen on their back. Boy and girl.

Only got a picture of one of them at the moment - they're like whippets; they don't stop for a second!

aww! soo cute! that looks like my cat, trey, with the innocent and curious look on his face... you can consider that for a name. and my sisters cat is a tiny gray cat named hayley. hayley is seven and trey is three, but hay's is a baby. good like with your parents cats and the naming stuff!

**suggestion: cats respond much better to names that end with "ee." try to end their names that way if you want them to understand their names better

I'll be taking those kittens thank you very much. Their cuteness could spell the end of the world if they're allowed to live with you. :D

Here are some of my own.

This first one is Topaz. She was so tiny she fit, curled up like this, in the palm of my hand. Since I picked her, my sister got to name her. "Spaz" makes a good nickname for her sometimes. She's about two years old now. One of her favourite past times as a kitten was to jump up on my bed (after a few weeks of not being able to jump or even drink properly herself) and sleep on my chest as I played Twilight Princess. Then she would start biting the Nunchuk cable...

This one is Brooke. I named her because my sister chose her. I got the name off own of her Beanie Kids. Ironically she used to chirp a lot when she was younger (she still does it when you surprise her now) and it often sounds like she's saying her name. She'll forever be remembered even after she's gone, primarily because she left an inch long scar on my thigh when she ran down my leg to escape the dog. She's four years old.

And here we see the two partners in crime trying to drink out of a flower bowl.

And here again sitting on the ironing board.

You know I could go on forever...

^^ They look pampered to bits.

My cat ("Tweetie") was a stray that we almost nailed with the truck three years ago - she was malnourished and real tiny when we found her and so weak she could barely hold her head up. The vet said she wouldn't last two days but we've still got her. She's still tiny and gets into everything.

A friend of mine here (who shall be unnamed) had a friend who believed cats to be "useless animals". I could not disagree more.

The history of the domesticated cat shows that we actually depended on them to protect our food stores, and help prevent spread of rodent-born disease. If not for them, early civilizations would have collapsed before they were even established.

There is even a theory that during medieval times, (when cats were actively killed by humans) the act helped contribute to the black plague - as rodents were rampant.

In conclusion: Kittehs rule.
