Hello Ladies!
So I've looked to see if anyone had started a thread for us the leading ladies in the forum who love our Apple Watches and since I didn't find one thread I decided to start one.
What girly accessories such as cases, bagel bracelets, and bands are you all getting or are planning/want to get for your watch?

Currently I have a modern buckle with my SS 38mm Watch, 2 Hoco leather bands, a link in space gray that I might have to give away, as well as a third party Milanese band without the magnetic strap but normal closure in black as well; and a couple sports bands from Apple.
I'm trying (ordered by mistake) mirror protectors and actually doesn't hinder the watch face much but it's a little distracting so it might be coming off tomorrow.
image.jpg

Had an Orzly Invisicase face only for the watch and it didn't last on one day, it fell off and don't even know how. Disappointed because it looked amazing.
image.jpg

And since it fell off I needed something in the meantime to protect the bezel so I got the Defense Edge from XDoria bumper at BestBuy for $30 plus tax.
image.jpg

I like to combine bands too between my black and white Sport Bands.
I'm excited waiting for SwitchEasy to release stuff for the Watch.

Also have on the way a 5 bead Hoco Band. I know it may sound too masculine but I'm a woman with attitude lol and I know it'll look awesome once it arrives.
This is the Hoco Bracelet
image.jpg

So. What do you all think? I know is not as many bands/bracelets for now.
I've been spending the last couple of weeks in and out nicked out tired because of chemotherapy so I'm taking it slow at the money. I won't deny I'm very disappointed with Apple's inability to make a Leather Loop for us 38mm adopters because I would've really loved buying every color available instead of having to rely on potential fraudulent Chinese sellers on eBay, Aliexpress and other stores.
Anyhow, I'll post some of the nice Bands I can find for women here and if you like or can, please post yours so that U.S. Ladies can refer to this one Addie from the Great Bands/Strap Thread hence that has everyone but this would be nice for us so that we can all identify with each other's style and help each other find something feminine, stylish, elegant or sporty but with that touch that U.S. ladies need to differ from the rest.⌚️⌚️⌚️
Having said that, Happy Independence Day to all!

I'm thinking about getting another band, but I'm not sure which yet. I want the Milanese Loop but not sure if I want to spend the money on it. I want some nice looking third party bands that don't look cheap. I'm wearing one from Amazon right now and it's okay, but it looks cheap.

I have the 38MM SS with Milanese loop. My wrists are super tiny - measures 140 MM. I had to adjust the loop as tight as it would go and it would come loose throughout the day....just didn't like the feel or look (My first choice had been the link bracelet but I couldn't justify the price). I ordered the adapters from the Utica dude on eBay back in early May and had my local jewelry store order some stainless steel bands in 22 MM so they could adjust them for my arm. It looked nice but I really didn't like the gap between the adapter and band. Also after wearing it for a week I noticed the adapter wouldn't stay flush in the watch. It never came loose but it worried me a little. I ordered the 3 bead Hoco Band from eBay and that was the nicest option on the market so far other than the Apple link bracelet. However you still have the gap (the 5 bead has less of a gap than the 3 bead but when I ordered they were pulling all 5 bead Hoco bands for the 38 MM due to some kind of issue).

I have finally sucked it up and got my Apple link bracelet in this past Thursday - I love it. I really like the JUUK designs and hope they are funded. I think there will be better 38 MM bracelet options from him. The only other band I'm interested in (but will need to save up for now that I've blown a lot of money on the Apple Link) would be the bandrbands velcro strap - I like the olive green or maybe black. That would be nice for a causal weekend look. They are around 60 bucks so not a bad price at all. I had a heck of a time sliding in the Apple Link band so I'm a little scared to try to remove it and switch out bands right now.

Thanks for starting a thread for us ladies :)

Cheers,
B

One more thing - I got a lot of mis-information from Apple regarding the link and what size it would fit - that's why I ordered a Hoco band instead of just buying the Apple link bracelet earlier. I went into an Apple Store while away for work and just walked in the Wednesday before the first wave of shipments (I was lucky to receive my AW on Apr 24th). I tried on the Milanese Loop but asked to try on the Link bracelet. The Apple rep said he couldn't take out any links but looked at my wrist and said there's no way this will ever fit your arm - you need to wait for 3rd party bands. I was questioning if he had out the 38 MM watch or the 42MM (I'm convinced now he had out the 42MM). The band that fit my wrist the best was the small modern buckle on the last hole. Of course they still aren't available but I would consider one of those once you can actually buy them.

I realized the Apple link would fit my wrist only after another lady on this forum posted her pics and wrist measurements. She said she had removed 8 links and it fit. I was told at the Apple Store only 6 links could be removed. I have indeed confirmed at least 8 links can come out and there are two more I think you could remove to make a total of 10 removable links on the 38 MM. I don't want the watch super tight so I just removed 8, allows the band to move a little (I don't have an issue with it locking b/c the sensor maintain contact with my skin).

Save your money.
I don't mean to sound rude in anyway but given that you do;.
Sure. If you were my father, or husband that would give you a reason to tell me what to do.
However, you are not.
Thanks for your opinion but I didn't specifically ask for it hence the title if you can read.
Not a thread for you?
Don't like us women minding our own business?
Mind your own.
Got nothing positive to say? Don't say anything at all.

How much did you spend on all your accessories?
Why is it any of your business? How much have YOU spent and tell me why do I care?!

Good question. I also wonder when people purchase couple of bands don't they get tired of swapping the bands all the time.
Again. Is it your money?
Is it your time?
Is it your business what I do or how many bands I get or how many watches I own whatsoever and how many times I switch?
No.
See. I wouldn't be so blunt if you wouldn't be so nonchalantly rude.
I don't give reason to anyone for my life so please don't get personal with my business or anyone's in this post FOR LADIES.
This thread was made there again, for Ladies only so I don't understand why is there men here, unless you're here to contribute in a positive way?
But if you're not, please tell us why you're here? Or are you a woman? Just wondering.
Have a good day!

As of yesterday....
one set of space grey lugs
one set of spring lugs (silver)
the sport band in black that came with my watch (only Apple band in the collection...the rest are all 3rd party)
one hot pink band that is as cheap as it cost
one plain black band (it's so meh, I never wore it)
one modern buckle in black, that I'm really digging
two "Milanese loop" bands. One is a very fine mesh, and beautiful. The other is larger & less feminine.
one nylon velcro band (Love this one. Super comfortable.)
one glass screen protector that came free with the MB band

Still coming....
one purple Poetic when they are available for shipment
one black and pink Nato strap
and, of course, I was an early Click backer and have several sets of lugs and 3 bands coming when they are available.

I am now going on a cruise so I will be unable to purchase any more accessories for a week. It's going to be like going cold turkey.

LOL AllieFlowers! You're awesome.
I completely forgot about the Poetic ones!
I've got 4 on pre order to ship at the end of July and can. Not. Wait!
Went to Best Buy to look at all the Case-Mate bands and I didn't like not one of them at all.
I'll keep on the hunt for other styles though.
I'm considering getting the All in One from Poetic for the watch which is a full cover plus straps cover.

I wished there where better options for us Ladies out there, but sadly there isn't much.
I am waiting for the new Apple Band Colors that Jony Ive had with him in China? Or was it England? I am digging the red, soft pink and dark blue bands.

Yeah. Sadly Apple seems to be a little misinformed when it comes to the bands. But, I am glad that you got yours right where you wanted!
I love seeing a woman sporting a band that machismo men would say is too masculine for their liking.
I'm a dainty girl but I'm also a Tomboy and I Lucan rock any bravely with or without anyone's permission So I ordered the Hoco one but just as you do, I would love for Eugene at JUUK to make his campaign reach so he can make one for us! I'd give him my money in a heartbeat and with eyes closed.

Good question. I also wonder when people purchase couple of bands don't they get tired of swapping the bands all the time.

I don't mind the questions on the spending or the swapping actually. While I think people tend to see women as the ones who do most of the shopping on accessories, clothes, etc., I have come to realize that men really have a thing about watches. Who would have known?! And some of them own multiple luxury traditional watches too. My husband doesn't wear a watch and he's the kind of guy who feels you need 2 pairs of shoes (tennis and dress), so you can imagine how he is questioning buying a bunch of bands for the watch. So looks like my husband would be the exception here on the forum. I actually have been shocked to see how many bands the guys have been buying and many are very fashion conscious too looking for a certain masculine pairing of bands in colors or materials, stitching, buckles/clasps, etc. The Apple Watch is rather plain in design, but that's also what I think lends it to dressing up or down and makes the case for One watch, Multiple bands, instead of multiple watches with bands. I find it refreshing and interesting to see what people are buying for their Watches.

I'm glad you started the thread Jmona, thought about starting one too, because while a lot of leathers for example can be considered unisex, it would be nice to see bands that would appeal more to us ladies in weight or design. Traditionally women's watches had really small faces and really narrow bands, but there was trend with big jewelry in the past so when I bought my 42mm watch I was more or less OK with the size. I have a wrist that could go 38mm or 42mm I think. I can wear a men's standard length band (120mm, 75mm straps). I do feel for you guys with the really small wrists in getting sizing. I don't think ebay offers a lot of choices in band sizes but if you look on the sites of sellers who are more traditional watch band sellers you'll find a larger selection in length. I'll try to post a link or two.

I have two bands on the way and possibly will pick up a few more. Trying to go for a breath of color range and mix up the styles from casual to more dress. And then will probably be done for a while until something unique catches my eye I'd like to add. By the time you add the adapters to the band, it can start to add up. So far, not interested in getting a total :). I do feel like the watch is an investment though but one I will have for a number of years to come. Heck with the different watch/band looks I have, I just enjoy seeing a nice looking watch on my wrist again.

As for tiring of switching out bands all the time...women change shoes and purses and such all the time; so, No, accessorizing what I'm wearing is part of daily life and the watch, thanks to Apple's super easy band adapter, is like breathing. Nothing to it and don't think about it really. By the posts in the rest of the threads I don't think the guys are feeling weary of it either.

New 38 mm Stainless Steel Space Black Apple Watch owner here! :) I LOVE it! Yes, it's not exactly dainty and feminine but it suits me. The black bezel makes the colors on the watch really "pop" and the black link band is simply elegant...... I haven't quite mastered how to remove or add links yet, though -- the guy at the store did it for me yesterday and unfortunately I wasn't paying attention to exactly how it was done. Now I've decided I need to add one link back in and am having difficulty with that as I'm afraid I'll damage the thing if I pull too hard to open the links.

So far the only accessory I've gotten is the Nomad space grey stand, but I am already planning to pick up a a green sports band which will go nicely with the green iPhone case and the iPad Smart covers on my iPad Mini and iPad Air 2. At some point I hope to see more Apple bands in different colors, especially orange...... I'd go for that in a heartbeat!

So I checked a few of the sites I was thinking of that specialize in bands and while they both carried short men's bands or long woman's bands, they generally don't go wider than 20mm from what I can tell. That leaves out those with a 42mm watch and needing a shorter band (22-24mm wide) in the event you have a large bone structure but thin wrist. Not having a 38mm watch I don't know what the standard width is for adapters on that...is it 20mm? If so I'll come back and post those links. I really didn't see much though in the way of color choice. Sad. Hopefully all this will change.

And Soya, I love you for that!
If more men were like you instead of criticizing everything a woman does, they'd be in better relationships.
I don't ask my husband why he likes video games, or why he likes to upgrade his computers without a reason, or why he likes building scale models of battleships since it's expensive. All I know is that he does and I encourage him by buying even more stuff for him because I'm appreciative of all he's done for our family as a whole. Little things that show my appreciation for the things he does. He doesn't critics me for my aberration of collecting DarkHorse Comics or Figures for that matter.
He has voiced his opinion several times that he has rather have a wife that likes the stuff he likes and collects stuff the way I do than buying a million pair of shoes or unneeded bags. The only shoes I wear and buy are all Vibram shoes which the founders grandson in Italy is my friend so I have about 60 pairs and since my husband likes them too, he actually surprises me by buying new ones and so on.
My guy that is treated like a King therefore he treats me like his Queen.
It takes one to know one and you are so appreciated for that very fact that you're here trying to understand us women more and finding gift ideas for your SO!

I have a nylon monowear band. I hate it. I missed the window to send it back for a refund so I'm trying to break it in. It is super stiff and itchy. I've tried soaking it in hot water and fabric softener. Still itchy. I'm probably going to attempt to file the edges a bit and see if that helps. I wish I wasn't past my return window. They have great adapters but the band is terrible. Save your money there.

I hadn't ever seen the poetic bands I might give one of those a shot. The giant 3rd party band thread is just too much to read through at this point. Anyone have any feminine suggestion for the 42 mm. I'm one of those women who doesn't have dainty wrist. I would have loved the modern buckle.

The only shoes I wear and buy are all Vibram shoes which the founders grandson in Italy is my friend so I have about 60 pairs and since my husband likes them too, he actually surprises me by buying new ones and so on.

Those are my favorite shoes! I wear them daily!

I have a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch and I bought the black classic leather band for it. I switch out bands a lot :). I love to accessorize and I do the same with my purses.
I have really teeny wrists so I have bought 38mm bands and put them on my 42mm watch. I love it so much! Makes the watch look feminine to me :) and the bands fit MUCH better for me.
I have a white sports band and a blue sports band as well and love those.
I have a few things on order:

-I ordered a band adapter from this site
https://www.get-click.com
-I bought the red nylon band from here
http://www.monoweardesign.com/shop
-I bought a blue vintage leather band, blue nylon band and a saddle vintage band from here
http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/product-category/straps-for-apple-watch/

-I have this watch stand and love it!
http://www.elevationlab.com/products/night-stand
I had bought the spigen one and it was too high and my watch kept sliding down on it and you would hear the beep it makes when you first put it on to charge. It would continue to make that throughout the night.
-I have this watch case and love it as well and even got the grey one and looks really neat to me.

I didn't know you could actually use 38mm bands on 42mm watches. If I would've known I would've gotten the 42mm I love the modern buckle but it isn't available in 43mm size so it was a deal breaker for me but now I'm kind of disappointed because of the leather loop not being available for the 38mm. I guess there's those of us that feel left out in one way or another on every angle with apple but with the new bands coming that Jony Ive day viewed I hope they're available in the fall at the very least. A RED product band would be awesome.
Do any of you ladies wear bracelets with your watches?
I wear a couple. A stainless steel one and a different one that reads "achieve" on it on SS lettering engraving but on black and red leather. I use them randomly and not together. Would look funky though.
I'm waiting on my Leatherman Tread Bracelet to get here so I can wear with the watch.
I may be a a feminine woman but I love me my tools and. Never go anywhere without them since we live in CO and we do a lot of outdoor activities in the mountains. And the Tread is amazing so I'm excited for it to arrive.

Yes it fits and locks on the same spot as the 42mm does, but it's just shorter then the 42mm. Only band I have that's a 42mm is the classic buckle and it's really big and wear it on the last hole and it's still loose.
I can't wait for the modern buckle to come in stock so I can order it!
I can't WAIT FOR the red bands for Apple!!!! Shocked they didn't have them in the beginning. Red is my very favorite color and patiently waiting :)

If I wear bracelets I wear my silver Alex and Ani bangles http://www.alexandani.com/bangles.html

Yes it fits and locks on the same spot as the 42mm does, but it's just shorter then the 42mm. Only band I have that's a 42mm is the classic buckle and it's really big and wear it on the last hole and it's still loose.

I have a few things on order:

-I ordered a band adapter from this site
https://www.get-click.com
-I bought the red nylon band from here
http://www.monoweardesign.com/shop
-I bought a blue vintage leather band, blue nylon band and a saddle vintage band from here
http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/product-category/straps-for-apple-watch/

I'd like to know your impressions of the nylon bands when you get them. Also, where does clockwork synergy ship from, since they have no address on their website.

I haven't worn anything on my wrist for years, even gave up wearing rings on my fingers, so find the watches and bracelets people are wearing interesting. Now that is some heavy duty metal there Jmona! I assume you will wear it on the other arm from the AW as it looks like it could do some scratching.
