How do you like the HOCO one? Is it comfortable?
Neatly can't tell you yet since it hasn't arrived. Ordered from Amazon and it's coming from China I guess. But as soon as it arrives I'll post an update.

I ordered the 38mm Hoco 5 bead and I had to remove 5 links to make it fit (small wrists). I felt like it was a little too bulky for me. It seems to be of really good quality though so if anyone is interested in a US shipped Hoco 5 bead let me know. I only wore it for one afternoon before I decided it wasn't for me. I still have the original packaging.

I recently got my Hoco 5 bead and I really like it! I like the adapter better than the other style and it looks like the watches I would wear before my apple watch from Kate Spade (width wise). I'm hoping she releases some bands for the watch.

I'm just waiting for some good pink bands. I'm not crazy about the black and pink combo, never been, but I like the pink on the monowear website but I'm not spending that much on one.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with the Daniel Wellington watches...I love those straps and colors, they're only one piece though.

Also I'm going to go check out this French Bull band, that I almost got the same design for the Fitbit, at bestbuy today! I kinda like the multi color design so I'll let you know!

Don't. I was very unimpressed with it when I went and looked at it at Best Buy. I thought It'd be much better but it's so thick and very unappealing.
But there again, what doesn't work for me could work for others so be your own judge. I'm just saying on personal experience I didn't like it at all nor can I justify the price for it. I'm better off buying a couple more leather classic buckle knock offs for the price.

Has anyone tried the Daniel Wellington bands on their watches? I'm looking for one myself for the 42mm version and I'm not sure if they would fit

As a new owner of the Stainless Steel Space Black Apple watch, while I'm thrilled to pieces with the watch itself, I am a little frustrated that for the life of me I cannot get the links apart in order to make sizing adjustments on my own and subsequently have not even gotten to the point of actually trying to remove the entire band from the watch. I was too excited the day that I bought the watch at the Apple store to really pay attention to how the guy there disconnected the links and resized the band for me. A couple of days later, after fiddling unsuccessfully with it myself I trotted back to the Apple store, extra links (safely in their protective pouch) in hand, and while this time I observed carefully as the Apple guy did the adjustment I had requested -- adding in one link -- I still find that once back home, I cannot manage to get the links to separate for me. It's frustrating! I don't know if if I just don't have enough strength in my finger when trying to press in the little button with one hand while pulling at the link with the other hand or if I'm pulling at the wrong angle or what.....

Fortunately, I absolutely love the black link bracelet and suspect that while I might want to swap out bands now-and-then that for the most part I still would prefer to keep wearing the watch with the black link bracelet anyway.....

Leather or nylon? I believe the leather are two pieces but I have no idea on the width! The nylon would be fed under the watch so you wouldn't get the heart rate reading unless you cut a hole in the bottom.

When you go to the accessories section and click on a leather strap, it gives you the option of 18mm (women) and 20mm (men)
Have u bought these before? Would like to see how the 18mm fits with the 38mm watch, or the 20mm strap on the 42mm. It sounds like they may be too thin and look weird

Nope I actually was looking into getting one before I decided on the apple watch! I think 20mm would look too small though. Even some 24mm straps have extra space on the adapters!

Got my clockwork synergy bands. Love the nylon band. Note it's a 38mm on a 42mm watch. The leather ones I love as well but it's too big. They don't have enough holes. I have smaller wrist. There's plenty of length for it but I need to punch a hole for it.

How does the nylon feel against the wrist? Is it stiff or semi-relaxed. I really want to get the khaki version...

I ordered on ebay a mesh band from these sellers in the UK today, myretrowatches. While looking over their store, saw these pink bands that were kind of cool. Comes in pink and white and also pink and black. Since people have mentioned looking for pink bands thought I would mention them. Won't work for a 42mm watch but I believe would work with the 38mm (if band width on adapter is 20mm).

I have an update on the screen shields from BSE.
I loved that they arrived almost overnight. They had already arrived to my home the day before I arrived so it was a super speedy delivery.
Pros
Covers the entire screen. Not the bezel but all of the screen rounded corners included.
Cons
The screen shield itself is VERY grainy. It makes it difficult to see ow clear the screen is.
Also, as you can see on the photo attached, it picks up ALL of the lent.
Not to mention at least other screen protectors out there come with a lip to lift the lids the screen shields have on that are removable for installation, these had NONE thus making installation a pain in the you know where. ("Ouch Jmona, you're too harsh" you say.)
They rather came 4 in one little sheet I'll be attaching later. To say I wasted 4 of them in the process of semi successfully installing N° 5.
Although I've used cheaper screenies from eBay, Amazon and other sellers in the past and since I've gotten much better quality from BSE, I thought I was getting a good product for the money I payed $20 for 4x4, I'm extremely disappointed with Best Skins Ever and that's a lot to say coming from someone who has been a customer since it was founded.
You're better off buying from eBay.

I have never used screen protectors or "skins" on any of my iPhones (I've had nearly all of them since the very first iPhone in 2007), and I don't feel the need to put something like that on my beautiful watch, either.
Good for you.
I'm a very clumsy Mom that has done a lot of damage to my devices throughout the years.
One screen protector in my opinion is better than hairline scratches that are super annoying to my eye specially as personal the Watch is with all the things I do outdoors.
Everyone is different. So what doesn't work for you might work for others. Just don't degrade others likes because what you like other might hate.
Just saying.

I was just saying, too..... I know that there are a lot of people who from Day One with their new iOS device or, now the Apple watch, want to have some sort of protective screen on it, but there are also those of us who have never gone that route and whose viewpoint is equally valid, yes?

Aside from that, I am sorry that the BSE screen protectors turned out to be so disappointing, as, yes, in the past they've been one of the top brands mentioned when it comes to the iPhone. Hopefully either they or some other manufacturer will come out with a really satisfying one for those who prefer to use screen protectors on their Apple watch or iPhone......

I've been using IQ Shield from Amazon. The first one made me want to run for a vodka shot, second one worked. The screen was perfect, didn't know it was there, plus I liked how it reduced the fingerprints. Was disappointed it only lasted less than a week before the ends started peeling. I can't see going without one due to my profession, plus I just don't trust that I won't nick the screen. It always happen with my phone when the keys get in the mix. I know I get on my husband's nerves about finding one that will work. However, seeing the reviews from ones used by different users one that works without drama doesn't exist yet.

Hello Ladies!
So I've looked to see if anyone had started a thread for us the leading ladies in the forum who love our Apple Watches and since I didn't find one thread I decided to start one.
What girly accessories such as cases, bagel bracelets, and bands are you all getting or are planning/want to get for your watch?

Currently I have a modern buckle with my SS 38mm Watch, 2 Hoco leather bands, a link in space gray that I might have to give away, as well as a third party Milanese band without the magnetic strap but normal closure in black as well; and a couple sports bands from Apple.
I'm trying (ordered by mistake) mirror protectors and actually doesn't hinder the watch face much but it's a little distracting so it might be coming off tomorrow.
View attachment 566230

Had an Orzly Invisicase face only for the watch and it didn't last on one day, it fell off and don't even know how. Disappointed because it looked amazing.
View attachment 566231
And since it fell off I needed something in the meantime to protect the bezel so I got the Defense Edge from XDoria bumper at BestBuy for $30 plus tax. View attachment 566232
I like to combine bands too between my black and white Sport Bands.
I'm excited waiting for SwitchEasy to release stuff for the Watch.

Also have on the way a 5 bead Hoco Band. I know it may sound too masculine but I'm a woman with attitude lol and I know it'll look awesome once it arrives.
This is the Hoco Bracelet
View attachment 566233

So. What do you all think? I know is not as many bands/bracelets for now.
I've been spending the last couple of weeks in and out nicked out tired because of chemotherapy so I'm taking it slow at the money. I won't deny I'm very disappointed with Apple's inability to make a Leather Loop for us 38mm adopters because I would've really loved buying every color available instead of having to rely on potential fraudulent Chinese sellers on eBay, Aliexpress and other stores.
Anyhow, I'll post some of the nice Bands I can find for women here and if you like or can, please post yours so that U.S. Ladies can refer to this one Addie from the Great Bands/Strap Thread hence that has everyone but this would be nice for us so that we can all identify with each other's style and help each other find something feminine, stylish, elegant or sporty but with that touch that U.S. ladies need to differ from the rest.⌚️⌚️⌚️
Having said that, Happy Independence Day to all!
Awww just popping in to say this is a neat thread! Loving all of the accessories!
Thanks for starting it! Very informative ~~
We are the pioneers after all!
