Are there any leather alternatives to FineWoven from third parties that match Apple’s last year leather case quality?

I've now tried every third-party leather case that's commonly mentioned here and elsewhere. After all my testing (and too much spending), there's one case that clearly rises above the rest: Satchel & Page. It has the feel everyone wants in a leather case. All the others are lesser, IMO.

Honorable mentions go to Bullstrap and Ryan London. But they don't compare to Satchel & Page's case, which ONLY comes in brown. The case is so good, though, who cares? I love it.

The only negative I have with my S&P case is that it scratches and marks so easily, more so than any of the others. But it does feel like the highest quality of leather at the same time.

What makes it better than Bullstrap?

The feel of the leather. It feels like a leather jacket or bag, not a phone case. That is taking nothing away from bullstrap or any other leather case, but I’m also yet to find anything with the same feel and texture as the Satchel & Page case.

Nice. I originally ordered the S&P case, but I switched to Bullstrap when they delayed shipments.

I opened this thread to see if anyone had experience with the Satchel & Page iPhone leather case. I own some of their bags and other items, etc. but bought those before prices went ballistic; plus there's the exchange rate and shipping and customs. Still, everything else they make is top of the line, so this does not surprise me. Thanks for this review.

I just received my first Andar Aspen case, and I must say, I am very impressed. Despite having read all the glowing reviews, it still exceeded my expectations.

The fit and finish is even nicer than Apple's own leather cases. The leather just exudes quality, has a great grip out of the box and smells great! When you insert the phone into the case, it has a very satisfying snap that lets you know the case is properly fitted but not to the point where it is overly tight or difficult to remove.

I could not be happier with this purchase and give it my highest recommendation for anyone still looking for a leather case. I just wish I had bought it sooner!

Yep, the Andar takes some beating at the price point it is.

What’s the consensus here on the lightest leather case? Has anybody found a 15 pro one that comes in under 30 grams like the 14 pro cases? Thanks!

Here are some 15 Pro cases I've weighed while looking for a replacement for the Apple Leather case (14 Pro version was 26g). I haven't found an actual leather case that comes in under 30g.

iPhone 15 Pro187g
Apple FineWoven26g213g
Apple Silicone27g214g
Otterbox "Cactus Leather"31g218g

Fake Apple "Leather" from Aliexpress33g220g
LUCKYCOIN Magnetic "Leather"33g220g

Are there any leather alternatives to FineWoven from third parties that match Apple’s last year leather case quality? Ideally in the same colours as FineWoven. Also with MagSafe of course. And ideally a matching Wallet.

I saw Mod Phone Case + Wallet from Bellroy which seems high quality but the colours aren’t quite right. Any other alternatives?

My requirements:
- the case needs to be leather
- magsafe
- identical colours to FineWoven case colours
- identical build to last year’s apple leather cases

The case needs to be available either in the UK or in the US. Help appreciated!
I'm new around here, but I thought I'd share something that might help. I used to have a FineWoven case, but it wasn't the best. I came across a Luriax case from a YouTube review and decided to give it a try. I should say it exceeded my expectations!

The material feels like suede leather, which is really nice
The MagSafe holds strong
They’ve got a good selection of colors
It's pretty durable and stylish
They ship to both US and UK.

Hope this helps you out!

I can't help but feel that this material would not age well as a phone or airpod case. Probably looks and feels great when new and then goes downhill from there.

I've actually been using both the AirPods case and the phone case for a while, so I can totally share my experience. I’ve had the beige AirPods case for over 6-7 months now, and I'm not gentle with it! I toss it around at the gym, drop it next to machines almost every day, and it still holds up really well. It doesn’t look dirty or worn out at all.

The phone case is a bit different, though. After about 2 months, I noticed the edges started to darken a bit, kinda like what happens with leather. But I found a simple fix, since it's Alcantara it's easy to clean. Whenever the edges starts to get a little dark, I just wipe them down with a wet cloth and let it dry overnight and it looks clean again.
