Honestly I haven't put it in the rotation much, I like the Milanese loops much better and I just got a rose gold one that I've been wearing most of the time. I've used the leather loop a couple times and it's held but definitely not enough to test it durability, sorry. As far as the magnets go they are not weak at all and hold the band in place well :)
Awesome, thanks for the update!

Blue loop from Lnkoo just came in. Here's my contribution to the thread. Some shots of the metal and how the adapters fit, for the people who care about that thing.

Don't care about the small gaps. Don't really care about the material. Magnet is stronger than expected. No metal is showing. Thought it was going to be worse, from reading everything in this thread, but very satisfied. Hopefully it holds up. About to buy a real one in either black or red, so I can compare.

I've had the black for several months and it is holding up pretty well the magnet is still strong. I wear it a couple days out of the week. The blue I just got so can't speak to it but they seem to be manufactured differently QC in regard to the magnet strength and gap at the watch. I also just bought an OEM loop from eBay for cheap and I'm looking forward to comparing them.

They don't do a real one in red

Target had the leather loop 15% off the other day so I took the plunge and bought the real thing. Having had two defective happy Cell loops I wanted the real thing, but didn't want to spend the money. I am happy with the authentic loop, but think it should be about half of its retail price.

Just a few notes in comparison. The apple leather feels real, while the happy cell band was likely PU leather. Phantom haptic is noticeable on the authentic loop but not the happy cell version. I think this is because the apple loop is smaller on me with less overlap and the magnets on the apple loop are stronger creating the clicking. The problem is remedied by loosening the band slightly. Overall the apple loop is more uniform in thickness, a bit thicker overall and obviously higher quality, but I was surprised just how good the knock offs are in replicating the loop. Too bad they don't hold up.

I posted ages ago about how a small modification to 3rd party leather bands could stop the connector from showing. Well instead of using black tape I now use a very small drop of superglue on each black bumper. I'm talking about a mere touch of the glue distributed / levelled off by a paperclip or something similar which create a slightly deeper bumper so the fit is snug and no metal connector appears. I've down this little trick to all 3 of my bands and it has held up for over 3 months with no issues at all. I change my bands every few days and when exercising.
