I made a whole host of recovery options for the M1.

If your M1 came at a certain time, doesn't it have a beta on it from the beginning that updates to the release out of the box? That was my understanding, but that could just be conjecture without a larger sample size. I think if I restore this with an IPSW and DFU mode that it will reset the recovery partition too.
I won't go that far, as I feel 11.2 will have a short beta cycle, since they are mainly fixing things they couldn't finish to get M1's out the door. I have also seen some report perfomance issues with 11 and 11.1 on some Intel Mac's. I no longer have one, since I sold my 16 once I decided I wanted to keep this one, so I can't test this.
