Here's hoping the 5670 in my iMac is enough to handle the game.

(Still a bit bitter that I didn't have the option to go up to the 5750 when my iMac was replaced via Applecare. Better than my original 8800 marginally but pushing it over a bigger display.)

Is L4D2 acceptable playable only by trackpad/keyboard of macbook white?

I don´t have a game controller neither a mouse.

Would be fun anyway, or I need to buy a game controller?

The download is dreadfully slow, but I am glad L4D2 came on for Mac. And only $7 too.

You're right. No way to play with track pad.
Mouse is needed for sure.

My macbook late'09 2Gb RAM handle fine the game in low video settings.

Just loved the game!
I recommend it for everyone who wants to relax killing some zombies.
