That's one of the ugliest laptops I've ever seen. ...and running Windows is the biggest compromise a computer user can make.

Seconded !
I just had another blue screen of death on my Lenovo (have to use it for work :( ) yesterday

The ad was certainly amusing, but unrealistic. The only thing that *might* of needed to be connected was the SuperDrive.

They should have avoided showing the Air, though. It makes the Thinkpad look like something left over from a car accident by comparison.

I totally agree! :D

I liked the ad, though. I think the Mac/PC ads are a little mean spirited. It's nice to see someone take a shot at Apple for a change. :p

Exactly what I was thinking. I can't believe Apple has been getting away with their Mac/PC commercials for so long.

People are saying that that many things plugged in is unrealistic; what is a good commercial if not outrageously exaggerated? :apple:

Funny ad, but...

so many people miss the point of the air completely. When I purchased my Air I purchased one of those USB hubs, and have only used it twice in the last three months. If you need to plug in all of those devices, then rethink buying an Air.
A coworker bought a thinkpad, and really likes it, but I wouldn't trade him and deal with all the Vista issues he is having.

I find it funny how most of people's gripes about the X300 are about its looks.

ThinkPads actually turn out to be probably the most solid PC laptops out there. They might not look fantastic, but they don't look bad, and they're sturdy, reliable, and difficult to beat.

Gun to my head, I'd have a difficult time choosing between the Air and the X300. In fact, I'd probably go with the ThinkPad.

I thought it was funny and to some extent true, but then again the MBA is for a different audience. If you need something to plug all that crap into, then it's not for you. If all you need is what it comes with and what's most important is portability, then the MBA wins.

And no, it's not a real Lenovo ad...was probably done by some "Peecee Fanboy" :p The production value wasn't that good and it was pretty long.
