Funny thing notice today, Lenovo charge me twice for my computer, but I’m sure once they open later today I can get this rectified. However I have a question for you guys regards the Lenovo web sites using Safari. The 24 hour chat button does not work, plus some of their sites do not work at all and I have to go through the process of clicking off the site then back on again in order for it to work. Do any of you have the same issues using Safari?

Just tested on Safari and used the chat button to open up a chat with Manuel, who I rudely disconnected from without saying a word. But it seems to work fine. What sites do you find don't work at all?

Sales site goes goofy on me from time to time and I have to click off and then back on again. Just tried live chat again and it doesn’t work at all. I’m using my iPad Pro 11 inch tablet and I tried a complete reset just a few moments ago and it still doesn’t work. Interesting!

I've seen Apple do this, and if its the same thing, one of them is a hold and the other is the charge. Nonetheless, I would not assume anything and definitely reach out to them

Trying now with chat, no workie. Will call when they open at 9 AM. Thank you

Yeah, I have had those kinds of issues before. Sometimes the content blockers do their job a little to enthusiastically :)

Got an email today from Lenovo indicating there is a speed bump on my order and now they want to ship within the next 30 days. Go figure. I’ve been waiting for this thing for a good while now.

What's the hold up?

Did you get the 2x charging issue resolved?

Lenovo said it was normal to have a double charge which I disagreed. They told me to call back in two days which I will do. As far as the hold up all they said that there is a speed bump and we will ship it out within 30 days. No further explanation in the email. I’ll call them tomorrow. Just my luck :(

Tried to cancel but I got this

Now on the way for arrival tomorrow Friday. This is kind of screwy but I’ll except it

It makes you wonder if the shipper (probably UPS) temporarily misplaced/lost track of it and was unable to update tracking info at the time they informed you of the “speed bump.” Lenovo may have been thinking that if it doesn’t show up, then they will need to ship another.

That or maybe you have a second one on the way as well, thus the double charge.

Did they resolve that?

I’m got an email from Lenovo and another date of delivery, Tuesday. this is getting better and better :p

No, they did not resolve the double pending charges yet. Supposed to give a call back today

Edited: Called Lenovo, and they said not to worry about the double charge and that it will be OK within five more days. However the Caller I talk to was hard to understand.

I would assume it was being shipped from their facility in Whitsett, North Carolina. That is where it originated when I purchased one. But maybe not in this case. If not, perhaps the weather is an issue.

Otherwise, North Carolina to Florida shouldn't be a challenge for them, right?

On the Lenovo site it says it is still going to come tomorrow but on the UPS site it says coming Tuesday. Wouldn’t it be interesting they’re sending me two X1’s ?

But, I’m the kind a guy that would return one of them. I have a conscious. ;)

You can offer, sometimes they won't take it back. Guessing for a laptop they will. But I had Triumph send me two jackets instead of one on an order and it was a jacket that ran about $600. I contact them and they thanked me for contacting them about it, but told me to either keep it as a gift or pay it forward. I did the latter. Seemed like the thing to do since I only paid for and needed one. Probably a lot more markup on that kind of apparel than there is on a laptop though.

I messed up my Dyson vacuum, no warranty, admitted that to the technician, and they said they’ll send out a new one, if I send the old busted up one. They said I was honest and telling them that I was at fault. So sometimes honestly does go along ways.

The entire Lenovo website belongs in the garbage can. It's an absolute catastrophe and I'm not surprised you had problems with it.
