Yeah I wouldn't expect them too... New MB will come with Leopard. BUT, If they still sell Tiger in the store, wouldn't they have to support it?

Tiger(retail) is PPC only. Now they do sell a Universal Tiger Server, but I doubt the number of people running that on a brand new macbook and want to have accelerated graphics is pretty small.

Nope, and even if you could install it using a modified restore disk from an earlier Intel Mac (which would probably otherwise be possible, if fiddly), the GMA X3100 kexts from Leo don't work under 10.4.10. We've tried.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean was anyone really doubting that the macbook and mbp will be updated with new hardware? Apple will obviously release new products, it's only a question of when..

Exactly... the only major fuss is over when. Hopefully tomorrow rather than later.

If they again ship a crippled product unable to handle even old games my money goes to some other company.

Buy a MBP then, if you can afford one, you wouldn't be stuck with sucky graphics performance of an intel graphics chipset.
