You will probably have to wait for it on Cydia, or if you really want to redo it, restore to the official v3.1.2 and run blackra1n R3 and then blacksn0w from the install.

i dont need blacksn0w i was just wanting to update my blackra1n to see if it used any less memory or anything of that sort.

i looked in /applications/ and i do not have a blackra1n or blacksn0w.app

OK, so if we are JB with Pwnage Tool, in order to use Blackra1n, we have to restore to official Apple 3.1.2, then just use RC3, is this correct.

Can't go directly to Blackra1n from JB PT ??

If it's already jailbroken I don't think you can, no. But you don't need to. You will be able to get the Unlock (blacksn0w) from Cydia later.

Noob question but is his technique damaging like Ziri's back in the day i.e. can Apple brick phones with the next update if you use his tools. Also i'm currently jailbroken with Pwnage...so how do i transition...restore to vanilla firmware and JB/Unlock with his tool?

Also will the unlock survive a vanilla restore?
