Man the WiFi owners are going to be annoyed with us. :D

But really, just saw this and it's pretty awesome looking, decent price too. It doesn't need 3G but does need the GPS that the 3G model has.

I skipped the 3G version because I wouldn't use it. Not because it was too expensive or came out later...

I've since sold my 64GB WiFi iPad on Ebay (making an extra $20 thanks you very much) so I could pay for the new MBP you see in my sig. I will definitely pick up another WiFi iPad later on. I loved it! what a great device- just needed the cash. Also, I think I'll get the 32GB version- 64 just ended up being a waste. But 3G? Not necessary to me.

Then why bother posting in the 3G Bragging thread, nobody cares what you did with your iTouch "Super Deluxe". This thread is for the real iPad, the 3G .
 
I don't brag about my MacPro to Mini users. I don't brag to 3G iPhone owners about my 3GS. I will not brag about my 3GS iPad.

This thread is kind of sad. If someone doesn't need the 3G aspect, and are satisfied with the Wifi, leave them alone. Bragging is fail.

One question, hows the weather up there? You do realize statements like this make you sound like a complete douche, right? Each iPad has it's place and some people desire 3G and some don't. That's why it's wonderful that we live in a world where we have so many options to choose from.

As often is the case some people need to make up for little deficiencies.
 
Wi-Fi iPad users aren't going to be annoyed because you have a 3g iPad, they'll be annoyed because you started a thread like this..

I personally opted out of the 3g iPad because I can tether it to my phone, no need for the 3g iPad..
 
Like it or not, wifi only peeps get ready for the 3G flood;).
You might want to look away this weekend, or go to the iTouch forum hee hee:D

No need to look away. I'm happy for people who need the 3 G and get them today...but I don't need 3 G. My wifi network works for me the majority of the time.
 
Honestly, enjoy your 3G iPad!!! You held out, congratulations :). I could not. But I do not regret my 64GB wifi version. And having that on your dash is probably illegal. I'll stick with tom-tom for iPhone or my native gps device which is what I use most of the time :)

But I can see definite uses for 3G iPad. Especially if you have a phone that can't tether :)
 
Damn man, I thought Apple fans were a happy bunch. Yeah the thread title is a little off putting, but why is there so many wifi only people in here talking about what's best for them. You had a whole month of wifi threads with 100s of threads. Let the future 3G owners have their fun. Stop hate'n
 
Bingo! Why would I need to look away? I'm not a little kid and I don't need 3G and I'm glad I don't all it means is wasting more money...my fios wifi works perfect with my iPad..so I'm happy for you all who get 3G

Maybe in your wet fantasies. You probably think girls will be impressed too with your black bar iPad. :rolleyes:

I can't speak for all WiFi iPad owners, but I made a conscience decision. The extra $130 premium wasn't worth it to me because:

1) there are very few places I visit where there isn't WiFi available.
2) I have an iPhone 3GS.
3) If I did want to use 3G it's going to cost me roughly $40 ($30 + all the assorted federal and state taxes that ATT isn't talking about). I can't imagine needing 3G on a 9" screen where my iPhone won't do that badly.
4) I have GPS in my car and on my phone

So, congrats to you for getting the iPad you want. But seriously, don't think that WiFi owners are envious of you. We are happy to have the extra $130 in our pocket. :D
 
Yeah, you're overlooking the part where most wifi owners would have bought a 3G if they'd actually wanted or needed one.
 
It's difficult to be annoyed with anyone who sports GPS any just about anything. It's built into my truck and I have a stand alone unit for travel.

The thing you need to understand is there is a fair number of wifi owners who just didn't need 3G and don't see value in a second data plan with AT&T. ;) Get over yourself.
 
I guess the wifi owners are jealous, don't know why they would be. For some reason they feel the need to explain themselves when no one is asking. This thread is for 3G braggin' rights, meaning if you don't plan on getting or already had your delivery, maybe you should move along.

I'm pretty sure the thought that a 3G owner would have "bragging rights" is just as asinine as a WIFI owner explaining their purchase. Bragging is for people who have to feel important.

I think it's because you instantly annoyed people with lines like 'the real ipad' What?

Jealousy has nothing to do with it.
