Wifi owners can always call the iPad 3G the iPad Skunk, because the black stripe makes it look like a skunk.

Jealous of what? Any wifi only ipad owner can get a 3g. You are not in an exclusive club. I'm sure anyone with $500 to spend on a novelty item has $630.
The 3g ipad is not "the real ipad", its just another ipad. some of the wifi only bunch here are pretty quick to defend their purchase though, which is kinda funny. Why are you justifying anything to this moron? He already thinks that because he got a 3g ipad he is better than all other ipad owners, why give him more fuel for his fire. Just ignore him and move on.
As for this thread, im not sure what "bragging rights" you would have. Again, the ipad 3g is available to everyone, not just idiots like you. If anyone here wants one, they can go get one. How is that bragging if they chose not to get one?
I do see a flood of 3g threads coming, but I assume they will be about good gps apps, where you get the best 3g signal, and like I saw posted above somewhere, potential car crash threads. Those threads are welcomed, as we are an ipad community here, not some douchey elitist "my ipad is better than your ipad" place. Take your bigger dick competition elsewhere.
Shoot. i thought this was going to be a thread of people as they received their 3Gs. That I'd like to read. This is lame.
It's amazing that so many threads here, like this one, are useless. If you pulled out all the useless threads this iPad forum would be very lean and more useful!

Thats why I voted for an App forum like the Accessories one, along with 200+ other users. Oh well.
Man the WiFi owners are going to be annoyed with us.
But really, just saw this and it's pretty awesome looking, decent price too. It doesn't need 3G but does need the GPS that the 3G model has.

I can see it now, car visor iPad holders, just flip down for turn-by turn navi... until it falls out and the screen breaks all over your lap.
Hopefully others will come out that are cheaper, but RAM Mounts already has a mount for the iPad. I priced it up last night... given their many options for mounting, I chose the vehicle-specific mount for my truck. Sadly, the whole package came to $235 shipped from GPSCity.com. Yeah just for a mount. But it would hold it in place real nice, and you could swap out the top piece (that holds the iPad) for a laptop mount for another $60 or so.
