42mm with LTE. 1 weeks of usage so far.

Wake up 4:00am, go to bed 9pm, watch at 64% on average. Never been below 60%. Includes 60 minute workout activities each day.

I have found my phones calls are no longer than 2 to 3 minutes. Quick, to the point.

42mm non-LTE

According to the app I'm at 5 hours of usage and 39 hours of standby time. Currently showing 45% left.
Running Cardiogram, Autosleep, Activity, Storm, various alarms and Siri. Use it for all notifications.

The first day of wearing my 42 SS, I used it to exercise and make a few calls (average 10 minutes each), listened to music through PowerBeats 2, played with it to learn it and went to bed 17 hours later with over 40% batter life remaining. Not bad at all.

I'd be curious to know the ratio of people that keep the screen off vs on.

I've got a 42 mm. My battery is usually around 55% - 60% by the end of each day. That's putting it on around 9 AM and taking it off around midnight, sometimes 1 AM - 2 AM. I receive a couple dozen notifications an hour and I also log a workout or two each day.

Based on these stats, I could likely go two full days without charging my watch, which is awesome. My S0 would be in low power mode by 9 PM where my S3 is at 60%.

7hrs 40min usage
50hrs standby
17% battery left, charging it now since I prefer to sleep with it on for tracking.
Far exceeded my expectations for battery life so far.

These are my results -- the 42 mm AW S3 LTE had 13% left. I'm catching a flight tomorrow, so I decided to just charge it so I can use it for sleep tracking overnight. This was in the afternoon - 1:07 PM.

Basically my main usage across the entire period:

30 mins / day of workout + music via airpods, checking time, sleep tracking, to-do list, and timer / stopwatch. Yesterday was about 3-4 hours of listening to music stored on the AW. I also got notifications

I'm really really impressed with that.

My typical day is 6am I out the watch on and around 8 or 9i put it on the charger. 42mm. Light usage. My S0 would be at 10%. The S3 is in the 60-75 range at the same time. I think I’m going to see how long it will last this weekend. I really think it’s a 2day +battery life. My deal is it usually charges to full while I’m in the shower and getting ready.

Today's (Friday's) stats:

This is for my 7th full day of use since receiving the Series 3 (42 mm with cellular/LTE).

After 22 hours, battery down to 62%. Most of my activity is the same as my previous battery stats posting (Post #8 above), which includes Sleep Watch sleep tracker that records all night, with the exception of a 30-minute workout. This equates to an average battery drain of 1.73% per hour.

I'm going to one up you and charge mine while I'm on the ******* too. Lol.

Seriously!

I wish there was a SoCalGadgetGuy equivalent, posting percentage drain averages for the 38mm LTE. Sounds like there is a much bigger difference in battery life than I suspected, sadly. If I ever get my watch delivered, I’m happy to do it. :)

42mm S3 with cellular:
Yesterday was off the charger for 16 hours with 6 hours of use and went to 55%
Today was off the charger for 14 hours with 5 hours of use and went to 64%

I was quite a bit more active yesterday than today, but I still got a lot of alerts and texts that I'd check. I usually have my iPhone 7+ with me, so not using cellular (which I got just in case of emergency).

Yesterday was my first day with the S3 (I upgraded from S2). My routine is to put my watch on the charger when I get up, since I use it to monitor sleep. After it's charged, I wear it continuously until the next morning.

With my S2, it would generally have 40-70% charge left in the morning when I would put it on the charger. this morning, my S3 LTE had just 8% left. I never saw anything that low with the S2. Yesterday was a normal day for me, just a bunch of notifications, three brief phone calls to test it out, and playing some music on an hour walk. I am hoping battery life improves.

On a bright note, it appears to charge very quickly.

First full hour workout this morning with the Series 3 cellular.

A full hour run (10km) with GPS, LTE, HR monitoring and playing music to AirPods took exactly 30% battery life (Started at 99% and when finished it was at 69%). No phone calls during the run but several dozen messages came through.

Good to know, that’s pretty close to my day 1 result. 1.5 hrs workout on LTE, took 40% battery life from my 38mm.
Thanks for sharing, I assume you have the 42mm?
