I dunno man, I am not a hardware engineer...

So maybe the number of E cores can come down, but anything that has Pro somewhere after Mac needs a bunch of P cores & a whole bunch of GPU cores...

How about if we go with the following:

32 P cores / 4 E cores / 48 GPU cores / 16GB HBM2e UMA
48 P cores / 6 E cores / 64 GPU cores / 24GB HBM2e UMA
64 P cores / 8 E cores / 80 GPU cores / 32GB HBM2e UMA

I like this idea man.. just that seems to me a little overkill.. maybe in a mac pro..? I do believe that apple silicon will sure be more powerful then a12z used in the ipad pro.. but that step up is alittle bit too much :) maybe 2 or 3 years later..? I do hope apple surprise us and able to come out a mac pro end next year with your idea :) sadly I only interested in macbook pro.. so that many core count dont seems possible.. HBM2e will be super welcome though :)

LOL... Yeah, those specs are for Apple Silicon intended for the Mac Pro line-up; iMac Pro, Mac Pro, & a new model, the Mac Pro Cube!
