Libre Office document Icons

When I save a document to the desktop it very briefly displays the correct colour icon but quickly changes to a grey version. All the correct icons are in the application folder which is where I found the one displayed below. OS 10.9.5 Mavericks, Libre Office version as shown. Any ideas to correct this?

When on desktop, press CMD + J. The option is ist Show icon preview.

I suggest try this:

Making sure you're not a bot!

Or try to use Onyx to re-build launch services. And please don't forget to restart!

Thanks, I’ll have a look at that.

Edit: Ive got the icons back by toggling off "Show icon preview”, but then the Thumbnails for my picture files (TIFF and PNG) Disappear!
