Light Bleeding on right upper screen.

Noticed this morning that I am having some light bleeding in on the upper right hand screen. Compared to my brothers which has none. Anyone else noticed this. Kinda annoying when watching a movie so thinking about exchange.

Yea I have a bit of this too I think its on the right side as well.

If you go for an exchange let us know how it works out.
 
In store and they are replacing it for me they noticed it also and stated first one they have seen with this problem. They were very suprised but more than willing
 
I have this too.. 2 spots on the right side where light is leaking a little.. don't really care though.. not that much of a big deal to me.
 
I have a feeling slight light bleed will be common with the iPad. You only notice it on a completely black screen anyway.

not ipad, this is a technology issue with LCD. dead pixel, backlight bleed are very common. quality ensurance department should check and fail the product if they find it. low quality and cheap LCD tend to have more of these issues.

Wouldnt call it common, its the first one reported on this forum, and only one other user here has posted about it. Although many people wont even notice.
 
Oh for the love of... look, people see light bleed with every single Apple product. It's a product of your imagination. Let it go.

It might be common but my bro was very different than the org one I had. This one is different also. The store even saw he problem. I did make a genius appoint due to them being anal. They said mine was one of the first coming back. Oh well
 
light bleed on my screen too

I also have a slight light bleed on my screen as well. In portrait mode - its in the exact same spot.

Its very easy to notice in a dark room with an iphone app or watching movie in widescreen.

If I choose to exchange this for a new one. How easy was it to notice in the apple store?

What was the process for you?

As soon as I noticed it - I knew for a fact that others would have noticed too. Additionally - I wonder how many people don't notice but have this small problem.
 
I upgraded from a 16GB that didn't have bleeding issues to a 32GB that does have bleeding. I noticed it immediately when I got home, and it's very distracting. I'm going to take it back for an exchange.
