Lightroom vs Photoshop? Which and when?

The reason it’s poor is because the mask that lightroom generates is poor, and there’s no way to change the algorithm.

I always create my own mask, selectively sharpening using brushes. This allows me to feather out the mask, erase where necessary, and adjust the intensity through Flow or combined with the Sharpening brush slider. It works very well.
