Well, my German is a bit rusty (as in, I have no knowledge of German other than being able to recognize it as such
), but I can read Arabic numerals. If they are correct, I won't be as wrong as I appear today hehehe We'll have to wait, but that would be great!
I am hoping for tomorrow (so I can get a play with it before I go abroad for 3 weeks)!
There seems to be valid points as to why it won't be released tomorrow i.e. lack of testing time and no staff training reports but there also seems to be a lot of evidence in it's favour.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

they have had plenty of time to get the staff trained its been over a month since dp4 the pref file in gm are from 25 june

Apple should delay 10.7 since GM has so many bugs.
But Apple can't delay to much since they made the stupid decision of not releasing Macbook Air, Macbook, mac mini or Mac pro before 10.7.
Now Apple has to release a bad "vista class" operating system before 19 Juli.
19 Juli is Apple rapport. Apple always release something before the rapport so that they have something to talk about beside Jobs health.

I don't recall Apple advertising any Mac OS X upgrades/etc. ever so that's out of the picture
From what I read on these forums, most people are generally happy with Lion, and I will download. I don't think it'll be too bad.
I would like new Mac Minis and Lion delayed till Christmas. Lion brings nothing that we so badly need over SL so just delay it and spend some serious time removing all the bugs.
I honestly can't see any real improvements in Lion nothing thats going to improve my workflow. I could mention many things that have changed or been removed that will make everything more difficult.

Don't buy Lion. Stick with SL. Telling others they shouldn't have something they want, simply because you don't like it is unnecessary.
There is little evidence that this won't be yet another record quarter for Apple.

in your opinion , but that is not the view of many, as been said before no one is forcing you to use it ,so why all the negativity , hey its a good job we did not have the internet when we change over from DOS to windows 3.1 or window 465 ( or some thing )
things change not always for the good but the do change and we adapt that the way it is, If lion is so bad then get over to the apple bug reporter and file all your problems , then they would maybe fixed
I think Lion brings so many over SL with a reasonable price. GM seems just fine so there will be no big bugs to fix. Lion will probably be released tomorrow but maybe Apple can delay it to 16th and release it with new macbook airs.
GM seems fine ? have you used it ? it's a mess.
Just start Safari with 10.7 and then start activity monitor, see how the memory disappears. When memory is gone the computer start to swap. 1 of many issues.

So what does it bring over SL? The price is decent but they took more away then they put in and it's the first OS i've seen that can actually make 8gb ram seem like too little. The 2gb minimum is a joke, safari will guzzle that up even when it's idle.
Apple did the same thing with Snow Leopard. My guess is they let the GM out to the developers, and after a week they began making the DVDs with SL on them, which took a couple of days. Lion is a download, so remove the DVD factor, and Lion will come out sooner. There aren't any MAJOR bugs, so I think Lion will not be pushed back.
Well it's the 6th here now and I can't see it, so there goes my theory of NZ release first ><. And yes, 'tomorrow' doesn't seem soon enough!
9 am Pacific Time (it's what's been reported, at least). figure out when that is in New Zealand.
i hope they release it soon, early july. apple usually is a pain and makes users wait until the mid-late end of the month
I think Apple have their reasons for releasing their products out at the end of the month, not to be a pain to their customers.
most likely true, it's just annoying to always have to wait , example ipod events and having to wait a week for availability.
